So I've been ready about relic weapons and i was curious who is actually close to finish upgrading one on our server. Or if someone has one completed yet. I really want to know an up to date cost of time and money it would take to get relic gun or bow. I'm still level 66 though so i have a long way to go just curious if this will ever be in reach lol.
 
Well... nobody is close yet. And people have been doing Dynamis and buying coins steadily for at least a year.
 
lol damn that sucks. allright i wish they would make it just a tad more in reach for someone who was devoted. But whatever when i get 75 im sure priorities will change alot.
 
Heres an in reach perspective:

Bow :
Stage 1 - 400 coins
Stage 2 - 1500 coins
Stage 3 - 6100 coins
Stage 4 - 10,000 coins

Total amount of coins : 18,000

Gun :
Stage 1 - 500 coins
Stage 2 - 1500 coins
Stage 3 - 6200 coins
Stage 4 - 10,000 coins

Total amount of coins : 18,200

Relative cost per coin : 12,000 ea. to 20,000 ea.

Min cost to upgrade Relic Bow : 216,000,000 gil
Max cost to upgrade Relic Bow : 240,000,000 gil
Average cost to upgrade : 228,000,000 gil

Min cost to upgrade Relic Gun : 218,400,000 gil
Max cost to upgrade Relic Gun : 364,000,000 gil
Average cost to upgrade : 291,200,000 gil


Better start saving up now.
 
They need to do something about that lol... Maybe make 100 pieces drop more or something cuzz anything over 200 mil is just plain stupid.
 
It doesn't matter if they increase the drop rate of 100 coins.
Even if 10 100 coins drop in a run, its not SE that determines the price of each coin. The people who win the coins sell them.

So either way, you'll be spending the same amount. It just might be faster obtaining them.
 
Yea Relic weapons are meant to be had by like a very very small amount of people who have finished everything in the game, gotten everything they want and still actually enjoy playing and plan to keep playing.
 
If coins are selling for 20k each, then there must be plenty buying them at that price...

They don't seem to think it's out of reach...
 
You mean people are "trying" to sell coins at 20k each... people only buy em for that much when their at the end of an upgrade.. thats why you see them.

You dont see them at 10-12k cuz they all get bought right away.
 
I heard the sword is about 200mil too v.v

I want to try to get one of these, like I am sure otherd do, but I doubt I will get it anytime soon if at all. Not to mention I'm still 2 levels from starting dynamis :lol:
 
More and more people are getting bored and going "hey i'm going to try and make a relic weapon fully upgraded..."

Haha... good luck. Not only is the supply limited to how many people run dynamis (and seeing as an LS of 64 people can only run it every 3 days) and only so many coins drop each run, while the 100s are even rarer. Now take how many people want the coveted relic weapons and you'll see why the price is what it is. Limited supply, huge demand. Just cause you have the money to get the coins doesn't necessarily mean you'll be able to get them in a timely fashion.

In addition to the coins, which would take considerable time to collect, iwth or without the funds, you also have to get some rare/ex drops which are not easy to obtain (from Beaucedine/Xarcabard). This is assuming of course you even have upgraded to the point you can use those rare/ex upgrade components.

Some have done it already but I guarantee you it took every ounce of time and effort to do it.
 
Wait, so according to that chart you can trade a 1.5 mill Siren's Hair for 7 of the 100 Byne Bills which commonly sell for over 1mill each? :shock: The chart says the denomination listed is in 100 pieces. Is that a mistake?
 
No. I believe Rones is right.

It is 7 100 byne bills for 1 Siren Hair.
Same goes for everything else on that list.
 
No you have read that wrong it would be 7 sirens hair for one 100 byne bill.

Ok, that makes a lot more since on a second look considering the cheaper and more common items would net you more coins with my view. So 7 x 1.5mill siren hair = 10.5mill for a 100 coin. No wonder that isn't done much. :lol:
 
Still doesn't make sense. 9 Wootz ores vs 25 Wootz Ingots? There are 25 ores in those 25 Ingots. If it was 25 Ores and 9 Ingots I could see there being a similar value but not the way it is now. I think the list has some problems. Same thing with the Marksman Oil and Slime Juice.
 
You have the goblin peddlers all wrong. Those prices, 7x for siren hair, is the cost to buy it. The goblin charges 700 Tukuku Whiteshells and you recieve 1 angel skin.
