Religional hypocracy at its finest.

You know, despite what people may think of them, I've found that Mormons practice what they preach more than any other religion, mine included.

So long as someone leads a good life, they could believe that G-d is the moon for all I care. The point of faith is not to improve upon what you think, but what you do.

...God? In some religions you're not supposed to actually say god. Spelling/typing it like that is one way to kinda go around it.
All "god" is, is a man givin name to some fictional higher being, so if they aren't supposed to say god, then anything they do say to describe it is the same thing as saying what they aren't supposed to say.

I come from a mormon familiy and I lived in Utah for almost my entire life, from the time i was 6 months old to 25, and trust me when I say that isn't true. When I left Utah had one of the highest penny fraud rates and per capita meth use in the country. Salt Lake is around 50% mormon, outside of Salt Lake it's 90%-100% mormon in the other cities, those number wouldn't add up if they really practiced what they preached. I could go on and on about a lot of other things too.

hahaha that funny! Masturbation being bad? lol
Im sure Jesus when he turned 13 did that all the time. I doubt even being the son of God stops someone from doing that lol

Obviously they don't believe that. Religion is full of contradictions. Let them be.

Though i do agree with you :P

When a friend in my circle turned Mormon, my hispanic friend would no longer talk to her. Why? Apparently, there is a Mormon belief that if you have a different skin color other than white, God looks down on you.

This could be wrong as I haven't researched it (I'm fickle with researching some religions, all I do is get more pissed).

Until the early 70's blacks weren't allowed to lead church services, i'm unsure about hispanics, because they said they bore the mark of cain. They started taking a lot of pressure from civil rights groups, then suprise, suprise the prophet of the church recived a message from god that said they were allowed to.

I'm not trying to bash on mormons, but they just like every religion they do good things and bad things.

Dont argue with the religiuse crazys they know what they know and cant be bothered with inconvenient things like facts or proof or evidince.

Maybe just maybe there is a higher lvl of being that had a hand in evolution, I truely doubt it. But the thought that one of these beings actualy gives a rats ass about this small worthless speck of a planet in the ass end of the universe and the self destructive creature known as man is laughable.

Im sorry. But that is very narrow-minded. lol. This is why so many people argue... But at least people with a religion (well, most from my experience) will say "This is what I believe" whereas many atheists, or w/e you are, will say things as fact, as you are now.

Dude it was a joke, a play on words. But yeah I don't consider myself any religion. I don't even think about it really. To me it doesn't matter what you are, until you knock on my door. Doing that will get you fucked with on a royal scale.

Ok, I never assumes that EVERYONE smoked pot, but I had yet to get one single post at least saying that it was wrong.

And I know that the law will legalize pot only, but thats the first step.

Call me a conservative, traditionalist, Fascist (i actually call myself the first two) but it sickens me that I put on a Uniform and defend this country every day just to watch it spiral out of controll intoa total denegration.

Eventually we will consider ourselves nothing more then a higher Mammal and it will be an anything goes society (as long as no one gets hurt of course) and that is nothing more then Anarchy Light.

Do anything you want, no rules.

This country used to be great, and we still have greatness in us, that is evident by the young men and women enlisting into the Armed Forces on a daily basis to defend this great nation.

But in the end we are a nation of laws. We cannot go around changing them at a whim because we dont like a certain rule. But if it is changed, so be it, I am sworn to protect and defend the Constitution and the People of the USA, and I will gladly defend everyone's right to thier opinion to the death.

If I appeared as a biggot, I apologize, and harsh, I apologize again. Yes the boycott Colorado was a close minded thing to say. I dont think Colorado has anything to boycott anyhow. I just grow tired of what appears to be the movement to wash all Moral Values down the proverbial toilet

Edit- and on the Polygamy/Bestiality thing, I never said that same sex couples could not enjoy the same benifits as traditional heterosexual married couples. Please don't put words in my mouth. They can do whatever Congress decides they can do. And what they do in thier private lives is thier own business.

And Steve Colbert is an idiot. Who ever writes his stuff is a comediec genius, because, thats right, its satire, not real news. If you want news and factual statements watch CNN or ABC, The Comedy Channell is hardly credible as a news medium.
Calling Steven Colbert an idiot is the highest form of blasphemy

He's also, believe it or not, Canadian.

Don't Mormon's convert people's entire ancestry? That's the reason that have some of the best geneology records in the world. And they send a bill for your tithing...

Weirder yet, they eventually get to wear blessed underwear that they can never ever take off. Like, they can replace it with clean underwear, there can jut never be a moment where they are completely naked. The whole thing has something to do with blessing you reproductive organs and keeping them pure and blessed.

Word up native cultures time to commit discursive genocide by rewriting the past. I know alot of mormons, they have some very wack practices, the underwear is new to me.

Ho, Ho, Ho! I Saw You Masturbating!

A Special Message From Santa Claus

December 12, 2006 | Issue 42•50

1234567

Season's greetings from your old friend Santa! My, oh, my, only 12 nights left until Christmas Eve! It's so close now, we can hardly contain ourselves here at the North Pole. And from the looks of it, my young friend, we're not the only ones set to burst! Why, Jolly Old Saint Nick hasn't seen a Yule log this lit in ages!

Now, don't be shy. You know what Santa's talking about. You just couldn't wait to open your present this year, could you? Ho, ho, ho! Dear child, I saw you masturbating!

And it hasn't been just once either! Oh, no! Santa's seen you at least twice splashing away in the bathtub, three times in the attic with one of your mother's old art-history books, and more times than even he can count spread out like a stunned partridge on that beanbag chair of yours!
Ho-Ho-Ho.jpg

Why, old Santa might just have a heart attack if he popped out your chimney on that cold winter's night and, instead of milk and cookies, found his dear little pen pal shamefully hunched over the family computer.

Oh, what a naughty, prolific rascal you've been!

You see, dear lad, Santa's been keeping a list. Just like the one you keep in your head of all your favorite classmates. The one you've checked so much more than twice. Except when Santa thinks about his list, he doesn't rub his crotch feverishly against the smooth contours of his writing desk. Ho, ho, ho!

I see you when you're sleeping, child, and I know when you're awake. And, believe it or not, I even know when you're just pretending to sleep, but really have your rosy palms down the front of your britches.

Yes, I suppose you could say old Kris Kringle knows everything there is to know. Well, not everything. You did teach me a thing or two about scented body wash! Ho, ho, ho!

Tell me now, what do you want Santa to bring you this year? A bright red bicycle? Some fun new board games? Or should I just have the elves wrap up a fresh batch of those satin pillows you enjoy straddling so much? Or maybe St. Nick shouldn't bring you anything at all this Christmas. After all, Mrs. Claus knitted you a special pair of socks last year, and just look what became of those!

Oh, what ever happened to that sweet, freckle-faced angel we all loved so much? Such a bright little youngster, so good to your mommy and daddy, and quick to make friends. Now all you seem to want to do is play by yourself for hours on end. It makes everyone here at my workshop very, very sad. Why the reindeer haven't been able to keep down their feed since hearing about how you slap yourself around. And Mrs. Claus, do you know what she did when she found out? She cried. She cried for the first time in almost 700 years.

Where before we enjoyed visions of gumdrops and candy canes, now we see you, once so dear to us all, kneeling against a plastic chair, spitting on two fingers, and putting them lordy knows where.

I must say, the sights you conjure up while you lie in your bed have even Santa Claus scratching his head. I doubt any of the high-school cheerleaders have ever even set foot inside a boiler room before, never mind done anything like that!

And other things—other terrible, frightful things. If your outlandish fantasies didn't make me quake with disgust, I'd say you were the most creative child in the world.

Is it Clara? Is that who you think about when you rub yourself raw? Ho, ho, ho! Why she doesn't even know your name, dear child! You didn't really think you had a chance with her, did you? A pretty girl like that? But your face—it's covered in pockmarks, for goodness sake!

Don't cry now, little one. I'm sure some of the Barbie dolls you steal from your sister's room find you very attractive. I bet they hardly even notice your embarrassing stutter, or that pungent and sickly body odor of yours. Or even how pathetic you really are, my child. What a sad, lonely, feeble little shit you are, and how your life—your wretched little life—will be filled with failure after failure, both personal and professional, until the stench of disappointment and heartbreak grows so strong that you'll barely be able to breathe.

Well, it looks old Santa has to get back to work! Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good night—except you, you sick little fuck!

Yes, when someone converts the mormon church belives your ancestors convert too, so they can be saved.

Tithing is 10% of your income before taxes. They don't send you bill for your tithing, but they have a pretty good idea how much money you make. If you're not paying it, you're not considered a "good" mormon. They do some good things with the money, like they have their own welfare system. If you're in good standing (i.e. paying your tithing) and fall on hard times they'll give you food and clothes. The mormon church is also becoming incredibly rich from the tithings, they are now one of the richest churches in the world.

I forget the exact reason for the blessed garmets, but it is pretty strange. It's kind of like an urban legend to me, but I remember hearing stories about houses burning down and then when people went through the ashes and finding the garmets in pristine condition. Yeah right...
