Remedy VS. Remedy Ointment?

Easy as that, what is the difference?

Remedy ointment probably covers more status effects, but someone would have to get bad breathed or something and test it out.

I'd guess one leaves you medicated.

Perhaps the Ointment gives you bar-all ailments.

Whereas the remedy removes them.

Test them?

Maybe it's like the high potion drops. You get meditated for a few minutes? (I'm assuming the ointment stacks).

one is a cream which you apply to yourself, and the other is a liquid medication which you take orally
~take both and call me in the morning

They both stack, otherwise I'd think it'd be like Hi-Potions and Hi-potion drops.
