Right, this could be a problem with Outlook express too...but...

Whenever I recieve an topic notification or private message, I click on it, and have to sign in. Every single time, I press the "remember me the next time I'm here" or whatever it says, to log in automatically every time. But the next time I come to QCDN...I still have to sign in. What's up with that?

really? thats weird. never happens with me.

It's probably a combination of my firewall and outlook express...but if it WAS the problem with the site, I thought I'd let Pupusa know.

This only happens when you go from Outlook Express, right? It sounds like a cookie problem, but if you come here without Outlook, then it's probably the program.

AOL Users, there is a compatibility problem with phpBB.

Kipsy, does this only happen in Outlook Express or if you run Internet Explorer directly?

I have to reenter my stuff too sometimes, but I know what my problem is. If I have gona a day or 2 with out usin the comp, my roomate gets on here and surfs for porn. For some reason he dose't want me to know what he's lookin at I guess. Even tho I know it's porn.

it COULD be as simple as cookie errors...

that's a good point. i had this same problem. i just went to tools, internet options, deleted all my cookies, and then logged into qcdn. works fine now :D

I had this problem some time back, and I fixed it rather easily. I have QCDN saved in my favorites, so what I did was logged in and checked the box to sign me in every time, then overwrited(sp? grammar?) the original favorites save. Now whenever I go here i'm automatically logged in.

Though....deleting your cookies would probably be a bit less of a hassle >.>

I found out what this is. You have your "keep history pages in database for 0 days" under internet options, or somthing of the sort. You have to have it 1 day or more to keep the log in info in the computer.

where would i change that? cuz i have to log in everytime too...only this site though <,<

Desktop>Right click Internet Explorer>General tab>History>Set the number from 0 to 10 or higher, there should be a 0 there>Apply>Ok.

I have my remember me set to 75+ days and I still have to enter my stuff every time i browse the page. Sometimes my cookie will even expire mid-search somehow when I try to load a page... itll come up that i'm not logged in, and then tell me the page doesnt exist.. then i relogin, browse back to the page and its there again...
