I hate the term "wiimote"... But thats the generally accepted term... Anyway...
Well guys... Here it is... The Motion Controller....

(It says its being released for PC, PS3 and 360, all three... But 360 is for some reason singled out)

They claim to be the first to use a true 6DOF (six degrees of freedom) system in a controller. Funny, I thought that was what the sixaxis controller for ps3 was for. I'm sure this device is better at it, but saying it's the first is kinda silly.

Also, there has to be patent infringement issues. Looking at that I can see at least 3 that they'd have to overcome and I'm sure there are a ton more that little obscure companies own the rights to.

That all being said, I think I want one for The Force Unleashed games so I can actually have a lightsaber battle instead of stick based combat.

Now busted HD TV screens will be more common. (terrible joke)

Even though games on the puter, PStripple and the Tray60 were not designed with Wii mote in mind, I think it'll be easy to adjust that controller to just about any modern game due to basic analog command.

It's likely they either got the go ahead from the patent holders, or it's new technology that does the same thing. Probably not that though.
