LOL I lvled war to 30 with sword and shield also, cause i wanted to be pld, and my mnk was lvl 12 also haha. and yeah my pld is lvl 1 to this day =)

other than that I remember getting my first pt in the dunes. Some random mithra dragged me down there and said "the dunes is like splinter-cell, you will have to be good at avoiding enemies" lmao...and then we got to the pt and i sucked, quite bad...i was also on dial-up and d/c'd alot...i was booted from that pt. Good memories! ; ;
 
I remember being stuck leveling in Ronafaure for about a month, and being sick and tired of leveling up all the time I kept going back to runescape.

I remember the overwhelming glee when I stumbled upon a windower for FFXI.

I remember getting an SU pearl in the jungles and meeting badger and allexxa for the first time, aswell as all the other lovely people in there who helped me with all the noobie stuff I needed.

I remember magic bursting Freeze in kuftal tunnel and over killing shit because the mob would already be at like 10%.
 
I remember when I first reach my lv 18 and get my sub job was a big acomplishement

I remember when I throw all of my bestmenseal aways since I was a newb

I remember when I had time to play that game who is call FFXI

And mostly I remember when people helped each other just for the fun of seeing new thing in game

-- Being lead to the top of Fort Ghelsba and being sure I was going to be lost there forever.

-- Having a good friend buy me Martial Slacks because I wasn't good enough to claim the mob, even though I tried for weeks.

-- Giving everything I had to help pay for my first linkshell. 3/4 of them are still in my linkshell today.

-- Getting a raise from a very friendly whm who was passing by. When I offered to pay him (as used to be the custom) he told me, "Just help someone else in need in the future and you'll have paid me back." I remember that guy every time I see someone needing a raise. I've paid him back more times than I can count. :)

I remember when Windurst was the coolest place ever >o>

I remember first going into Sandy, it was during the summer fest thing, and I thought it was so cool to see fireworks and the music while running around town. I thought Sandy was the biggest place ever.

I remember fighting the dragon on mission 2-3 (or whateve rmission it was), I thought it was the most intense battle ever, the music was good too :)

i remember someone leveling summoning skill outside of windurst, and I thought the avatars were the coolest things ever, and then I wanted to be a summoner :D

I wanted to be a nin/rdm cuz Bradygames told me it was good.

Atleast we can all look back and see how much we've progressed, huh? ^^
 
I wanted to be a SMN/BLM when I first heard of the game (lolz - I thought it was like Enchanter in EQOA), then after I bought the game... I realized that BLM was the class for me.
 
I thought Sam's old 2hr just let you do the whole 100 tp thing but you had to build to 300 tp yourself.. since meditate was only 1 minute recast back then. I forgot about all the people farming tiger fangs.. and the people farming mistletoe from walking trees in jugner.
