Honestly, when I say this, take it to heart. Instead of reporting the post, PM it to a moderator.
The report post forum where we look to find issues with the board, is not showing any new topics ever since the change. Report post is useless until we fix it.
I second this. For the time being, instead of reporting, just pick some mod or other that you trust to treat you fairly, and PM your concern to them. If possible, use the quote-post button and copy the result into the PM, so we get that friendly little quote-link to use to *find* the offending post.
Of course, don't expect the personalization to make the process work differently than otherwise, aka don't confuse "fairly" with "favorably":
Some things, such as a missed spambot post, a double post, or an event scheduling thing in general discussion, are just obvious and we take care of them. Some things we just roll our eyes at, because there's no problem with the reported post and (for example) people need to grow a thicker skin for the flameboard.
And some things are complicated (note that "flamebait" complaints usually fall into this category) and we'll probably end up reposting the PM on the mod forums to discuss it before taking action, which will delay the response somewhat.
(And all of it is pending the mod in question actually logging on to get the PM, of course.)
Hopefully the report post function will be fixed soon - although the poor taru has a ton of stuff on his plate as it is - but in the meantime, this'll be a viable workaround.
EDIT: Yay moot point, since report post is fixed.
