Reraise Gorget!!!!!!!

Supply and demand. The fact is that there is a huge demand for reraise hairpins/gorgets due to the large number of people reaching 60 cap CoP fights, and also using them for things such as dynamis/limbus/KSNM's.

I sold over 100 hairpins/gorgets in less than a week using one character. Currently demand > supply. If you want to correct this, go farm the hell out of somber/startling/radiant memories and fish up a few thousand coral fragments.

So, in one week's time, enough people reached the 60 cap CoP fights to make reraise gorgets jump from 60k to 80k each? Somehow I doubt that... Reraise hairpins have always been expensive (as long as I can remember at least), but 80k for a gorget is just stupid.

I find myself playing bst a little more safely these days... as in, avoiding dangerous, yet high exp fights. No way I'm spending 7,000gil per charge... Hopefully other bst's will do the same.

In less than a month, coral fragments have gone from 60k per stack to 170k per stack. It's not just people reaching those fights, it's also people becoming aware of the item's existance. It currently takes about 50k in materials to make one, and it's 3 synths.

Oh and the reasons reraise hairpins are more expensive is that they are usable by all jobs, while the gorget is just a few jobs, and they cost about 25k more to make.

The V. cloak price is killing me ; ; . i spend hours doing KSNM, farming etc. to buy myself one and the price goes and jumps up to 10 million -.- it has dropped down to 8.2 ish million atm. . . but i still only have 7 XD lol i think im going to try and wait to see if the price will drop a tad more b4 buying. i guess ill farm till then incase price decides to go in opposite direction /sigh

Some powerleveler probably fucked up the Bonecraft market, Like Eternalguardian/Cookiecrumbs did to leathercraft, after Svina mde him look like a dumb fuck.

And Mikkel, you should spend that gil on a piece of equipment that doesn't suck, because afaik, V cloak is pretty shitty.

hmmm. . . i was considering investing in some HQ staves instead~ SMN 68 atm, so either V. cloak for main healing or HQ staves for the extra -1 prep cost i definately do not want to sit on the gil though. . . need to buy things while their still semi-affordable XD lol

I always get a kick out of hearing about EG. It goes to show how 1 person can make a profound impact on an economy. On the otherhand, EG didn't sell most of his stuff on the AH, so while completely fucking every leatherworker, most items made by leather workers remained at a price unnaffected by him. (Unless you take into account the possible rise in prices in materials that would then raise the end product cost of things.) Overall, I would say the economy didn't get as fucked as it could have been, considering the potential that was there.

Just to note: If you see Cookiecrumbs playing (slim chance) it is not EG. The character was handed off to another person. It was originally EG's brother's character anyways.

I will claim part of the responsibility for coral fragments going from 70k to 100k, although I never paid more than 90k for a stack.

But there is still supply and demand. There is a huge demand for reraise II crap, and only so many coral fragments. The reraise II crap is profit, and sells very quickly (I sold over 100 hairpins/gorgets in under a week using just one character at the Jeuno AH) They often sell out, and there isn't enough coral fragments to supply the demand, so coral fragments sell as soon as they get put up, and thus price on them gets jacked up. Crafters in turn jack up prices, and people pay them. Eventually it will meet equilibrium, until then prices will continue to rise.
