Resident Evil 4 has a Wii version coming out in Japan, a US version has not been confirmed

Looks like knife attacks will be quicker to pull off. I wonder if you can walk while shooting now. This sounds fun, but I've already played this game.

You won't be able to walk on your own, you'll choose paths. This sounds really shitty. Basicly House of the Dead/Area 51 taking place in the RE1 mansion....
 
I'd be happier if Resident Evil 5 were released for Wii =/ Gives me a reason to not buy PS3 yet.
 
They say it will be ready in late May probably, but then say it's only 25% done........ They must mean May '08.

Resident Evil in "Rail Shooter" format has been done before.

"Resident Evil: Dead Aim" for PS2. Even came with it's own Lightgun. Heck, the Japanese geeks over at NAMCO's Monolith Studio development team (The people who made "Xenosaga") thought it would be an awesome idea to put Bruce and Fong-Ling (The main characters of "RE: Dead Aim") in "Namco X Capcom".
 
Remember House of the Dead? (I think thats what it was called) was a sort of Rail Shooter, but was really cool. Still, they should re-release Typing of the Dead. That would be cool, somehow.
An honorable mention for this post would be for the DS owners out there. Touch the Dead (no way I'm kidding about the title as far as I know)
is gonna be like that.
Still, my Wii will have a few cool undead games on it. Lets hope Escape from Bug Island doesn't suck.
 
There was also Resident Evil: Survivor for the PS1. :p

Didn't Capcom announce in 2005 that RE5 was coming to both 360 and PS3? So it's been confirmed a while.

Tentative release is sometime in 2008 though, so won't be seeing for a while.

It's confirmed. It was confirmed before the PS3 version. The nice lil' "PS3 videos" you see of RE:5 are the same videos that showed up with Microsoft tags long before.

lol, Capcom's not very system exclusive anymore :P they used to be Nintendo exclusive far more but ya.. ah well, not a big deal. I wonder if Dead Rising will ever be made for the PS3 or Wii. Personally, even if graphics were worse, a Dead Rising for the Wii would be nice cause the controls were a bit annoying somewhat in Dead Rising (that whole can't run and shoot thing :\)

I don't think they ever stated DMC4 to be "exclusive." Releasing only on one system isn't exactly the same thing. You can choose to release on one platform without a deal to be exclusive.
 
You've got a point. It's pretty silly actually though trying to guess the future when it's so unpredictable at the moment. Let's see what happens with the only Capcom game I actually care about now. Monster Hunter 3.
