Multi-Plat Resonance of Fate

Interesting, the fact that the story kinda blows kinda puts me off on trying this. Well, that and the fact that the combat looks freaking hard as hell. I will say the game looks pretty, even the combat looks pretty but that looks like that's about it for the game. I will admit, the ability to customize your characters appearance and the fact that it remains whatever you changed it to during cutscenes is pretty awesome but superficial in the grand scheme of things. Meh, I honestly don't think I'd even rent this game.

Not my kind of RPG. :/

Has some interesting features, but looks like it just wouldn't hold up to other rpgs.
 
I bought this on a whim (yay tri-Ace) and let me tell you, the combat system is freakin complicated. The dungeons are also really boring, they are just linked fights where you have to kill stuff then walk to an arrow to go to another fight. The boss was randomly 10 levels higher than anything else I'd fought at that point so I died and just didn't care. I'll pull this game back out in a few weeks and try again, but for now I think I'll stick to FF13 and Star Ocean.
