As of the end of June 2008, I am officially retard from FFXI.
Only 274 days of playtime across the last 3 years, but the playstyle of FFXI simply doesn't fit my life anymore. I've migrated to AoC which is easier for me to pick up and drop whenever I want (or more accurately, whenever the woman wants me to).
Will still be around the forums as our guild forum will be on here.
The thank yous. Holy shit, I can't begin to think of all the names. I'm only mentioning a couple names in these posts but it goes without saying that if you were in one of these LS's, you had an effect on me and my game career.

HellsSatans - Daryus and Kiere were the first "Pimps" I ever met and I'm proud to have been sucked into their clan. I owe everyone in HS a big up for raising me as the proper idiot I needed to be to succeed in this game.
TDS - I lived and died beside the Fury-esque Dynamis shell and I have no ill to speak. We had a shakey ending but the system was doomed by unforeseen consequences. Orestes, Foo, Myihta - I salute you.
Encore - one of the reasons I stayed limping through this game for so long. I loved these mother fuckers and I always will. The laid-back style worked only under the right administration, and we had that to back it up. Dino, Willian - I love you little fuckers.
NoizyTribe - We only crossed paths a couple times but it was always a riot. Alastor didn't have a fucking chance. Faule and Langly have a great crew over there and I wish them nothing but luck in these trying times of FFXI.
ArcaneGarden - I met most of these jackasses through Encore. Another fucking awesome group. If I single names out I'm gonna feel horrible for forgetting someone.
Einhertards! - the ghosts made me want to completely erase this event from my mind. We gave it our all and god damn if it wasn't a hell of a run... I could rarely blame anyone but myself for our failures, either by randomly deciding to aggro all mobs and pull em to camp or not putting my all into building the crew we needed. You guys gave me more than your best and you all deserve the goldest of stars that money can buy.
Alas, the Pimps. This LS has become part of my blood. The people, the mules, the laughter and the tears. The drama and the crushing victories. Every component was in perfect proportion and I wish I could find some fatal flaw in the LS (most of the mistakes were made by me) so I don't sound so pompous.
