Return Ring... waste of Conquest points?

[Aethyr]

Okay, so, I'm still a somewhat green-player, but here's what happened... I spent 9k conquest points on this thing and it doesn't seem to work most of the time and I'm having a hard time finding out information on it. Any advice, guys?

The ring only works in regions that your country owns. And when it does work, it just warps you to the outpost in the region. Its uses are very limited, but it is a nice toy to have to save like 5 mins.

Ah, okay. That's pretty worthless. Thanks for the info. =)

i learned that lesson the hard way.

Only thing I've used the fancy Homing ring for is jumping to the Qufim OP when I'm running late for Dynamis - Windurst... Though I've been trying to find situations that give me any reason to burn a charge. >.>

I use the ring as a shortcut to bastok all the time when Bastok owns a region with a crag.

Tele-mea

Use ring

Outpost to bastok for 200 gil and way faster than ariship

It's nice if you want to get to sky in a hurry, b/c then i can outpost to zitah from bastok.
