hey i was just curious if they still have this program running? i have a friend who wants to start playing again, but his charatcer was deleted after the 3 months...

so if anyone could help that would be awesome

Program ended a while back. However, there is still a chance you can reactivate your character. You will need to call SE though. 3 months is just the minimum they keep deleted characters, they usually keep them longer. Just no gurantee after the 3 months.

I quit in like March or April, I think. So it's been about, 6 months or so. Hopefully they will still have my Tec or I might not come back. ; ;
 
tec about we just make new characters tezru and tec and levle like the old days :(

seriously just make a new character ill help you level it :(
 
Well, I'll call SE up and see what I can do. If I can't get him back then sure. =)
 
Realistically speaking, is it worth to start from scratch? I mean are the noob areas still being played it, or will it be a lonely road to level to levels where one can catch up with the low end of the general populace (which I would imagine would be around level 40-ish).
 
There is still a very large distribution of players lvl wise. Valkurm, qufim, and kazham are still crowded usually. The high lvls like to lvl up new jobs. :wink: However, I don't think I would be willing to start from scratch again in ffxi. Too little fun left for the amount of work required just to get back to a decent level.

wooo you comin back? heh i think i passed you on blm level finally >.> but retired from blm till i can come up with some cash (63blm). (currently lveling warrior)
 
Yo Tec, I'm fairly new to the forums and intend to join the FFXI world today, so i'll be a low level too if you want a level buddy.

Also the Gold World Pass thing is still going on so make sure to get one of those instead of a normal world pass, I know thjis for sure cos my friend got me one yesterday.

I look forward to playing with you and anyone else up for some noob helping in the future. Hopefully I'll nab Jangaroo for my character name, but that may change so watch this space.
 
Hell in a month or so I'll be PLing my 2 mules through all of the first 40 levels. Spharai is going to be the baddest MNK in the game, and Claustrum is going to be my taru BLM/SMN to be a serious nuking midget. Or I might just play all 3 at the same time and level up my PLD with my taru so I know I'll always have a good WHM...me :lol:

And if I get my old character back, hit me up sometime and I'll help you out with some quests. ^^
