Reya Returns!!!

[Reya]

Hey guys!! Well guess what.. I broke down and picked up an early super x-mas present to me from me! Yep! I bought a lap top with some awesome super high speed internet along with FFXI ^^ I hope to be online sometime later tonight!! Omg I can't wait to explore new areas! Pioneerz for life!!

Err.. however I am running into a problem I have windows vista and my POL won't run on it. Is there a patch I can DL to let me run POL and FFXI on this computer or am I just screwed?

Heeeelpp! I wanna play :3

Thankies!

Welcome back Reya. <3<3

[Makelith]

You have to download the Vista PoL from the PoL website. If thats the link that Lyrai posted, disregard this message.

Yay Reya :O

Download PoL from playonline.com. Make sure it's the NA version (I'm assuming you bought the NA game ). Follow the instructions on the site too because you can't use autoplay to install the expansions and have to do some tricky little computer clicking stuff. Remember if all else fails... Right-click > Run as Administrator.

Oh and if you're going to use windower, it may be a good idea to disable your secure desktop, as you will find that FFXI will crash when vista prompts you for admin access for other programmes. Good luck~~
