I know what the mob is, ran into him earlier while fighting Deathscythe at lvl 41 -.- That was a pain...

Knew nothing of the grand armor though lol I spent so long killing it

Yea, it's a random treasure chest thing. And to the Lv. 99 chocobo... can anyone confirm it actually exists? 'Cause I've pwned the chocobos in the Plains, zoned, and re-zoned, and all I see is this stupid Garif guy running around in one zone, and more of those Zaghals(sp.?) in the other zone. :/. And I've done this for the last 4 hours while farming feathers 'cause I'm tired of killing shit in the uplands and whatnot.

ive killed a red chocobo right there, but it didnt appear inthe monster encyclopedie, not a rare monster there should be a secret around that. The Lamp Rare Monster that appears when you climb the tower does drop the ribbon ( and the tower NM on last fllor drops grand help, best atk helmet). I don know how to chain the lamp NM to make it drop.

Not.

You'll be there a LONG time if you're going for three pieces of it. It isnt even THAT much better than Maximillians. Its 3 more STR and I think maybe 3 Defence, at the cost of 6 Speed.

if you chain it ( is it even possible?) it will drop. the "tower NM" in ridorana can be cained. I got droped at chain 16.
