Arg, he was a complete and utter legend. :(

19 years is a long time to be battleing MS though, ahh well...

RIP :(

His home town of Peoria, IL...a.k.a., the armpit of Illinois, has ruled 6-5 against naming a street after him. They don't want to come off like they are "for drug use".

The man, especially coming from his background, has managed to do more for society than any "ruling" Peoria judges will ever come across.

R.I.P. Mr. Pryor.
God bless.

I only know him as Willy Wonka and the Deaf dude in See No Evil, Hear No Evil :(
You've never seen Young Frakenstein? That movie is hilarious.

As for Richard Pryor funny man I love his stand-up. My head double took when I heard it on NBC5 (Chicago) I was like WHAT!? I find it BS that Peoria wont name even a street after him. Peoria was an armpit til Richard Pryor became famous.
