well goddamn... i guess i have no one to blame but myself for this... but. I go to a catholic high school in san diego (del mar area if ur famililar) and i have soccer practice right after school. i drop my backpack off in the locker room so i dont have to carry it around since we move fields sometime and stuff. well... what i usually do is take out the stuff in my backpack. i.e. my ipod, cell phone, ect. well... today is the one day i forget to take out my ipod and move it into my soccer bag... and someone stole my ipod - -... like i said.. cant really blame anyone but myself, but i guess it just shocks me more. first off, its a catholic school. people pay tuition to come here, and it definatly isnt cheap. second of all, its in the richer portion of town... and im not lying when i say we got some loaded people going to my school. it just hurts me alot since i put so much time into building playlists and such.. i had like 4,000 songs on there, not to mention that ipod cost me an arm and a leg. aw well... i hope the damn mofo that stole it like jrock, FF music, jazz, and a shit load of other random crap cuz that makes up the portion of my collection...

/sigh... atleast i still got ffxi to fall back on... but now to start saving money for another ipod - -;;;
 
A lot of warped kids end up at private, religious, or military schools...
Definitely not all goody 2 shoes.

I ended up at a private school for the first 2 and a half years of high school. Friggin' sucked. Suit and tie kind of place. All it did was cage up my normal freshman through junior year attitude until I got up out of there.

There were braniacs there for sure. But there were TONS of misfits as well. Kids that could have used some guidance...That school...Didn't help.
I was somewhere in between. Didn't need a damn thing. Didn't want a damn thing. Just wanted to go to the public high school where my friends were. It was already part of the taxes and the education there was as good or better than the private school.

The was plenty of sneaking girls around, sneaking to do drugs, stealing....The private school stopped nothing.

A disturbing number of people steal for the sake of stealing, not out of any perceived need for money. So basically don't trust anyone.... :D
 
Catholic schools are the worst schools in america. I would never send a child of mine to such a place. Drugs, hookers, rapists.....Amen. Just remember, the mafia was church going joes.

The drugs and rapists I knew about... but hookers? Damn, Catholic school is starting to sound kinda groovy. :spiteful:

Yeah, it sucks to have something stolen from you. It really out to piss you off to no end. But, as what's been stated before in this thread, trust no one.

So what?

Public schools down here suck and our private schools are like your public schools. Everyone wears uniforms. There are drugs, hookers, and rapists everywhere, and only because there are fewer private schools do you see higher contrast.

most definatly... and the worst part is. i was using my ipod to store all my songs, about 2 months back my hard drive crashed and i lost my music collection on my comp. i had most of the music i wanted and was gunna update it again when i got around to it... now to start from scratch and try to find a way to get a new ipod...
 
I know how you feel. My little Henry(Ipod Shuffle) was stolen from me. And of course the stupid security guards didn't do a thing about it, regardless of their promises.
I think I personally need to get to the bottom of this(my missing Ipod situation and investigate my way through this.
 
stealing is dumb. someone recently came to my house when my roommate and i were gone. (our other roommate was here) and stole a glass piece. it wasn;t mine, luckily i had put mine in my closet and they weren't in my room. the next night a girl stayed here after being at the bar and someone stole her wallet with 300 bucks in it and her debit and credit cards. its fucked up because nothing has been taken from here but then 2 nights in a row it happens. i can;t say i haven;t stolen before, but i don;t take from friends. i steal from places like wal-mart. big corporations and stuff. i once stole a sack from a kid i went to high school with who just plain sucks. thats sucks about your ipod man, i want one and i can;t afford to save the money for one with bills. but my situation with money might be different than yours. good luck gettin a new one or gettin yours back if thats possible...

Well, /sigh, /comfort, I feel you man. Last Friday Feb.17th my iPod got stolen from my bookbag, I went to get something from my locker up the stairs to the floor I study on HighSchool, then when I come back downstairs my mother calls me to my cel phone and telling me I need to hurry my ass to my house, when I got in my friend's car like usualy I take out my iPod from my bookbag and start listening to music, then when i stick my hand in my bookbag, guess what happaned.... yep you guessed it, no iPod there. Note: That I study in a private school. >_> I hope he likes all that music I have in it, if he does'nt why the hell did he steal it from me lol.
