Bottom line up front: The whole business is a pain in the ass. Yet whether you like it or not people will sell services with accounts attached for years to come. You may not like it, but you can't just not do something because people don't like it. I don't like the fact that there are protesters outside my base every day calling us a bunch of baby killers and whatever else they call us. However, myself and hundreds of thousands of soldiers like me work to make sure that every American opinion can be expressed without backlash. We don't bash the protesters and go up to their faces and call them pieces of shit, Kicamo, because they are doing something that I do not approve of. They have a freedom of speech, I have the freedom to do whatever the hell I want if it is legal.

So have any steps been taken to progress with this lawsuit or is this just a bunch of hot air bluffing to get Deathchild to give in? By now I figure you should have already been in contact with a lawyer and the lawyer has written up a long document that no one really understands except other lawyers and mailed/faxed it to deathchild in which he will either penny up (the easy way) or find a lawyer to decipher the paper and take his case (the hard and expensive way).

By posting on this median somone is bound to send Mattimer a /tell in game and let him know what is up. I know some of my friends have and he is ignoring them.

I need to study more about law but it seems odd that the bank doesn't seem to be doing any kind of investigation into the alleged illegal transaction that was made on the card. It would save me a lot of money and hassle if there was some kind of legal investigation done.

Also once an investigation is started I will not post about this anymore until it is completed and even then it will be a dull point.

Chances are you're absolutely correct however; it's called a chargeback, anyone who's worked for a credit card processor will tell you it will get investigated but chances are it will more than likely only be 'looked in to' considering it was an internet transaction and not an incredibly large one at that involving little to no physical property of questionable value.

Most chargeback departments chalk bad internet transactions with paypal, ebay, etc as as a dumb/ill-informed consumer and simply move on after having suspended the transaction. I doubt phone calls will be made over this so much as a form filled out and someone going to lunch on the end of either the bank or the processor.

There's really not alot to prosecute here, SE wont have part of a custody battle between ebayers so much as ban all parties involved and say good day. 'Free gift' or not anyone but YOU (the original purchaser of the software heretofore referred to as the 'end user') on that account is a breach of the EULA and would make any claim to the account null and void to both parties if it got around to SE, which it would because you'd have to appeal this pretty high.. and then it's like what? Captain america here spends a ton of money on a lawyer and had all this drama over some game crap?

I don't mean to be a huge downer, guy. If you rattle the right monkey-tree something might come out of it but truthfuly i'd recommend boning up to screwing the pooch on this one do whatever it takes to get your gratification and move the hell on with your life.

There is no anogram or emoticon big enough to describe the laugh i got out of this. I mean no offense to anyone involved but good god the lengths some folks are willing to say they'll go over these games sometimes is something else.
