Maybe they're RMT, maybe they are not, but they definetly seemed like they were.

There was a Japanese Monk in the party, and they weren't speaking much, so I asked them where they were from, to try to bridge the language gap. They laughed when I said China ( ), and the Ninja, who did all the speaking, said he was from San d'Oria, but his real life location was a secret.

It might be difficult to see due to the recast timers, but the WHM kept an Opaline Dress on throughout the entire time, the BLMs gear wasn't too bad (NQ rings, Moldy earring, AF), and the NIN's gear was pretty good.

Yeah, we were fighting Colibri with a BLM in the party who just had to cast AM whenever he wanted. The WHM casted Benediction to save him though. :shok:

If that doesn't persuade you, here are a few more key points.
The White Mage casted Divine Seal + Reraise II, Ninja didn't provoke until all my shadows were down, and the Ninja's provoke macro was >>>>>>>>>.

Do they ever quit? :\

Wow that sucks.

But unfortunately as long as people continue to party with them, it's going to happen. =/

I would of given the WHM the boot for wearing Opal dress during an XP party.

That actually looks more like a mule or donkey than a horse.

And yeah, you should've left or booted on sight of the Opaline Dress. You can get away with BLM vs Colibri so long as they know what the hell they're doing, and that BLM obviously didn't.

Oh sweet jesus! Beat the image out of my eyes!!!

On topic: RMT never quit, they're like a bad cold, you can't get rid of it. Unfortunately. =/

I wasn't the leader, and I felt bad because the Monk had just used his empress band. So I stuck around til it was near to wearing off, and I left.

I saw them earlier while soloing my BLM in bibiki, yorsy was wearing dream robe/hat,but I didnt bother examining. When you say the BLM wasn't too bad, though, nq rings and no HQ staff at least, IS bad. But I guess you shouldn't expect more from RMT anyway

I wouldn't expect HQ elemental staves of a level 65 blm. I didn't start upgrading mine till 75. As for rings, HQ weren't expected when I was levelling, but I don't know the prices now. I wouldn't expect a blm to go crazy over two int. In fact, I think so long as a blm has a full set of NQ staves, and NQ gear for everything s/he needs, that'd be sufficient. It's uncommon, but anyone could be a first time leveller w/o level 75 moneymaking at their disposal. I'd try and give everyone the benefit of the doubt. We didn't expect all HQ of ourselves when levelling, after all. The Opaline white mage isn't excusable, though, and I can't judge the ninja because I have no melee jobs higher than 20 - don't even know what's good for them.

I remember seeing Bigleaf with his RMT group in Altepa once... he (Bigleaf) had a shell with a random irrelevant name, but then another guy in his party was leader of a Linkshell named "Bigleafs".

Hmmm.

Completely off topic: No, I would not expect someone just starting to have HQ staves, but at the same time most people don't realize just how big of an improvement HQ staves are over the NQ either. The cost efficiency of them for the improvement is exceptionally high versus other HQ since it's a percentage and not a set rate.

OP: Oh, yeah, anyone in Opaline in exp should have been kicked/you should have left right there. Doesn't stop you from feeling guilty for the monk but eh, better than putting up with that.

Should also mention, unlike many melee jobs which can buy a HQ item, mages require 8(maybe less) staves to make the best out of it.

Considering how much of a difference 5% can be when you have close to A skill it's still very efficient cost wise versus the difference between the melee NQ and HQ equipment costs for the improvement.

Wouldn't an AM at 11% kill a colibri before it could cast back? Haven't seen enough people cast on one to be able to tell ><

It's really a 50/50 chance, because they have a high magic resistance, and the HP bar was actually a screen shot after he casted Freeze.
