RNG Distance

Question Does the distance you stand from a mob affect the ability to hit it, how about the damage? If so how can you tell the distance for each mob?

Yeah, that's what the nerf said.

If you use windower, you can use the distance display and google up the exact distance needed for the type of weapon you're using. But really, after a few days of using the weapon it becomes second nature getting into the correct distance.

Yeah like I said:

after a few days of using the weapon it becomes second nature getting into the correct distance.

Whenever I'm playing on my laptop I don't find myself using the distance plugin at all because it's really not all that hard to take a few steps back.

The best break down I can give you for the general sweet spots is:

Longbow-------Xbow----Gun---Mob

Each dash representing roughly one pace. It's nothing exact but I suppose you could use that as a guideline as to where to stand.

That's only accomplished with stockpiling and flexing your abs, and of course proper ark. If you want to do it in that order, there has to be at least a 15 minute cool down on the actual cumshot skill with a 1 minute casting time. I mean, since Vana'deil time moves faster than our time >.> Aim high for maximum damage. Eye-shot = Critical hit.

Edit: Nose-shot = creativity, Ear-Shot = Stacks with sneak attack, and "Spitting on the mobs back so that it turns around then firing off your load"-shot = stacks with Trick Attack.
