Anyone else play this game? I just finished the game last night. Saved all 100 slimes, last boss, and finished the tank battles in town..

I found the game play to be extremely addictive, the collecting aspect of it gets really fun once you figure out exactly what items you want to be collecting rather than just picking everything up you see and throwing it back to town. The game has a great sense of humor, and I really like the fact that you can get the "baddies" to be on your tank team after a certain point. There are a few secrets in the game too, but I couldn't get myself too interested in finding all of them once I discovered that my tank was almost literally running over the competition.

The only thing that I don't like about the game is how short and easy it was, even though it is a DS title and by the time I got to the end I was kind of done playing, I believe that had a lot to do with how easy I found it - if I had been beaten by tanks more often I probably would have been more inclined to keep collecting things and working with alchemy, but I only had to do that once every level to keep up with the difficulty level, so beating each enemy once was enough for me. The only boss I had trouble with was the end one, and I didn't die trying to defeat him. Plus because of how easy it was I don't think that I'm going to get more replay value out of it.

Regardless of all of that I really had a LOT of fun playing that game - I brought it with me everywhere just in case I could squeeze in a battle or two, I love the fact that you have to save your slime friends and the little missions some of them put you on in town is fun, and I really want my friends to get this game so I can battle them in their own tanks.

Yea, nothing challanging, but its quite fun.

The challange comes from playing other people.

I "have" it. Well, suffice to say I bought a copy, played it for a few hours, loved it, then my Son stole it and deleted my game. >_>; Now thats all he plays...

I picked up a DS last night along with FFIII and Castlevania: Potrait of Ruin. I noticed Rocket Slime and couldn't decide to pick it up or not. The fact that you think it was so easy makes me weary of getting it.

Any suggestions on other good RPG's or 2D side scrollers (Castlevania, Metroid)?

Give Contact a try as an RPG. My boyfriend got it for me - I got about half way through the game and got kind of bored, so I gave it back to him and he LOVES the game and got way more involved with it than I did, and from what I've seen and what he tells me it is a really cool game, just something I couldn't wrap my arms around.
