ok now, what's up with the new "no life" generation of players that get 70+ in a cool month then make fun of you because you don't level so fast?

I level at my own pace, and get about a level every two weeks or so, when these guys can get 3+ weekly. That's all fine and dandy with me, I don't personally care, but when they go back, brag about it, then call you a assortment of colorful terms because I actually have a life.. is when I get ticked.

GET OVER IT.
 
I don't like naming names, if you want to know you can ask me when I log on in a few hours.
 
Getting 70+ in about a month sounds like no fun at all to me. They're really missing out. If they're happy about it though, then more power to them. For me, there's no way I could play that much and still pay my rent/bills, see my actual real-life friends, TAKE MY VACATION TO HAWAII in a couple weeks, and keep my girlfriend happy.
 
Bleh Im getting sick of people not naming names... if your gonna flame someone, flame them! Dont be all anonymous and bullshit.

And if your so scared your gonna make a new enemy over it or get flamed back by this person then dont flame in the first place.
 
...these people also bore of the game once their lvl'ing frenzy wears off.

Im still amazed at the amount of 70+'s who still dont have Yhaot or Vahzl crystals.
I was in a pt about a month ago with a lvl 60 who didnt have Holla

Kinda looks stupid to have such power, yet no where to go with it except the chat window.

Aquired the game at launch.

Fishing Lv.6!

Yeah it sucks watching your friends workng on thier Thier thier level 65+ job... But hey. this isn't a competiton, and usually when people rub it in, they just want to be acknowledged. Nothing more. They are proud of what they have done.

Tell em to level Dragoon and I will be impressed.

Never did see the point of the race to 75... I enjoy lvling on my own terms/time.
 
I get the "You should level more" argument all the time.

I've been playing since NA release and even a few weeks on the beta.

I currently have

54 SMN
30 RDM
29 WHM
15 THF
10 PLD
5 WAR

I don't have a lot of gil and havn't killed a lot of NMs (That have dropped anyway...got my very first NM drop the other night!!! Woot Curaga earring!!)

But I have a lot of friends and I've seen a lot of cool places in the game and died on many insane adventures. I still enjoy my game where a lot of peeps that I've talked too that did the level grind don't.

I get frustrated at times but everyone does. Being Lower Level doesn't make you a noob.

I partied with him about a year ago or so at 40ish in crawler's. He didn't understand the concept of piercing arrow from behind enemy to turn it ---> Thief SATA viper bites the tank for full SC. And he thought I was the noob :lol: :roll:

He then started cursing at everyone and the leader willingly passed me leader so I could have the honor of booting him from the party. We then got someone else and did better than before, justice was served.

Although I wasn't surprised anyway. But when I was in my 30s on my thief I was passing through where where battering ram spawns, in the general area, I figured I'd chase my first spawn with chocobo so it pops and I get claim. He then started whining to no end because I got a claim on a freaking 12 minute pop enemy, this dragged on for a good 20-30 minutes because he sucks at ram hunting and tried to take it out on me.

He then proceeded to threaten me and he was claiming he was going to get his 60+ thief and come own me(He was rank 4 by the way), I accused him of BS and encouraged him to get it, he was so full of shit :lol:

What's great though is bigdaddy's hate for bigdadddy with 3 Ds. I heard one time Bigdaddy's wife got on and started saying "Yo you'll never the real bigdaddy!" Can't you picture some poor ghetto woman saying this? What tops this off is bigdadddy by mistake also choose the same mule name. Daddysgirl---->Dadddysgirl. It's one of those classic things in a video game that pisses someone off that really deserves it more than anyone else.

If you thought this was directed towards you wanting me to get 70 for SF, you're wrong, I'm talking about the people that get high up because they have no life then brag about how slow/noob/lowbie you/I am.
 
Well, it depends on what kind of static you've got. I have a mini-static with two of my best (in-game) friends and always have a blast (well... almost always). I could probably level faster without it if I wanted to (in fact, that's partly why we switched to leveling subs together - the other two members figured they could level faster without the static, so we switched to other jobs so we could still party with each other).
 
/em completly agrees with Tymon.

I'm one of the slowest lvlers I know ; ; Hell, someone who started the same day as me got Pld 75 when I was 55 drk <,<
