Roleplaying on Quez

Well hello everybody, it's good to see you all. My name is Alfreo and I've been playing FFXI for quite some time. I'm not the best at it (never can find anybody who wants to break away from their own cliques to party with me), but I love to RP. What we have is a rich, vast world with a rich, vast history and a great deal of potential to roleplay in it. Unfortunately, as I stated before, I've yet to really fit in anywhere, so I've constantly been playing on and off, finding other MMOs to RP in. Honestly, nothing has been quite as... full as FFXI. Recently I found out that a friend of mine still played, and since Aht Urgan was released, I bought it for 360 yesterday. My friend plays on Quezacoatl (I don't know his character name), so here I am. I figured he would at least help me level more than I have before (only made it to 17, to my dismay).

Now that the introduction is over, here's my real point. I don't want to play unless I can roleplay. Unfortunately, I can't seem to find any LS that are roleplay specific. Even in the LS directory, only one LS is for roleplaying, and I was told it wasn't very active (no offence intended). So here's my call, if anybody wishes to roleplay, either with a LS they already have or if we have to make one ourselves, post here for e-mail me at [email protected] with "Quez Roleplay" in the subject line.

By the way, I'm not always so formal in my typing. I'm usually very relaxed and fun to be around (I'm just doing this so people may ACTUALLY post something. Imagine that?). Thanks for -anybody- who cares. Peace out homies.

Moving this topic to general discussion. It will get more attention there. When/If you actually do end up making a RP LS, post about it here.

Either way, he found the NT. ;) Hopefully he'll get a chance to RP with us all.
 
Probably not Brin, I believe the CP has made a bit of a comeback as a singular shell apart from NT..

I was just getting used to them being around. I guess my crew scared them off, lol. Oh well, i'm just here to RP and have fun and you can be with me or w/o me, wont make me shed a single tear. ^.^

Another note, hurry up and get your ass back to the server Lecan ;)
 
I'm working on it. Waiting for SE to restore my character, if they don't you'll be seeing a very low level Lecan by the end of the week >.>

It was a general agreement we all missed our home.
 
Well doods and doodettes, I'll be happy to RP with anybody who wants to. Since I've sorta found people who want to RP, gimme a /tell or friendlist me and I'll be happy to play at any time.

Good luck with ther roleplaying thing. I'd give it a shot sometime, but getting into an alternate character just feels too silly to do it in a public area...place...thing.

And that's what forming a party/alliance and RP'ing there is for. The noobs who feel the need to heckle /say RP's gets to be a bit much sometimes. -_-
 
It all depends on how far you take things.

If you start holding one sided convorsations with NPCs, I would say that is a bit extreme.

But say your preparing for a garrison, and you tell your best friend:

"Prepare your forces, the hoards are coming!"

"Yes sir! Warriors to the frontline! Mages hang back and cast at a distance!"

Stuff like that is always fun.
 
Heh, I love getting in character... my real life is boring sometimes (heh, philosophy and history papers due... -.-) I'm not in character when I talk to people I don't really know, but if I do know them and we're doing a story, I probably will be. It's just nice to get into the lore of the game, especially something like Final Fantasy.
