The site has raised over $200,000 and the blimp is being set up right now. Here's a current pic:

Tea Party '07

http://www.teaparty07.com/

On November 5th (Guy Fawkes day), Ron Paul supporters raised $4,300,000 in one day. They plan to do it again on December 16th (Boston Tea Party anniversary) and even bigger than the last. The goal this time is $10,000,000. Ron Paul is already very close to his goal of $12,000,000 raised for this quarter. With this new one day money bomb, we'll see just how far we can exceed his goal.

Ron Paul Submits 20,000 Signatures for Virginia Ballot

Paul supporters collect 5,000 more signatures than Mitt Romney to guarantee spot on February 12 primary ballot

"ARLINGTON, VIRGINIA – Tomorrow, the Ron Paul 2008 campaign will turn in 20,000 signatures to guarantee a place on the state’s February 12 GOP primary ballot.

The 20,000 signatures are 5,000 more than Mitt Romney turned in, and double the 10,000 signatures required for a place on the ballot.

“Virginia has rallied to Dr. Paul’s message of freedom, peace and prosperity,” said campaign spokesman Jesse Benton.

The signatures will be turned in Thursday at the Board of Election building located at 200 North 9th Street in Richmond."

The blimp is slightly depressing... i hope they are still able to get it up to boston by the 16th.

Every single day on my way to work I see a pick up truck with the words "Save the Constitution - Vote Ron Paul" scribbled in giant letters across the rear window.

So we are celebrating his ability to raise money for his own campaign?

Yay?

Does Ron Paul care about the issue with Puerto Rico? I want to know because idk anything about him.

That campaign looks good thou. ^^

I guess that's marginally better than "Wash me."

The thing is, HE isn't raising anything. It's all of the spontaneous supporters that are doing all of the money raising. None of it has anything to do with his official campaign. He's about to raise more money than anyone this quarter. The blimp is something that has never happened before in political campaigning. The November 5th money bomb broke all kinds of records and it's about to happen again. Also, it's rare that he gets much coverage on the media regardless of how much money he makes, so the PBS showing is pretty amazing.

he doesn't really need media coverage when you have massive blimps and cars on every street corner with his name on the windows

not to mention this thread, and every third digg article being about him

(i'm not bashing him at all)

There's a huge sign in my town on some private plot of land next to a main road that says "Support Terrorism - Elect a Democrat".

I don't agree with this or anything, I just think it's hilarious.

were at 15M already

And so Ron Paul raised 6 million in online donations in one day. There's probably another 300k-500k in offline donations. He broke the record for most one day donations made in the primarys.
