Last night in KRT. Great burn pt (inc all the blm in it). 24,000 exp and a mad crazy puller by name of Rones. He'd go out once, do different things to different mobs, come back to camp and we'd watch the mobs trickle in for instant death perfectly for great chains. Then when he got adventurous, he'd pull 2/3/4 a time. Reaching a point where we got chain seven off 2 pulls.... then carry it on.

That was a great party, not only did we get a buttload of exp, we had a blast!

I only know Rones from Dynamis as his WHM not BRD, but he is very good at that also^^

Also, awesome sig Shyrra, thats hawt :D

Rones is my Mentor. He is also one of my very dear friends. We may not chat as much as we used to, but Rones and I met playing a game called NeverWinter Nights Shadows of Undertide about 2 1/2 years ago.

He helped me get all my teleport scrolls back in the day. Some he talked me thru, some he literally took the time to help me get. He also helped me with all my whm AF. Lastly, whenever I needed advice he was always a /tel away. I don't think I'd be the whm I am today, if not for Rones.

There are 4 whm's who totally rock in my book and they are Rones, Algarius, Euphacent and Paulio. Rones is at the top of that list and always will be.

He will always have a place very close to my heart, and I think he knows this.

Good bard pullers are becoming a rare thing nowadays, glad to hear rones is a good one, ill have to remember that next cannon im setting up ~_^

Bards: Learn how to fucking pull! good god it has to be the most fun a bard has in this game, quit the slacking you've done for 70+ lvls and learn how to do it, it makes cannons soooo much better.

Thanks for all the compliments guys. That is by far the most fun party I have ever had. :biggrin: 32k exp total by the end was far more than I was expecting.

If anyone is curious what I was doing, I'll describe it briefly. I would head to a group of mobs (these were all non linking). Foe lullaby one, wait about 10 sec, horde lullaby1-3, then elegy a final mob that I pulled back to camp right away. This would result in 1-2 mobs trickling into camp about every 15-20 second for a total of 3-5 enemies. If we had a couple in camp at a time, all the better for the blms to aoe spam. :spiteful: If some woke up early, I just lullabied them while we finished what we had or let the blms handle it with extra aoe spam. Easy chain 7-9 with only 2 pulls. Couldn't have done it without such great (and brave) blms. :thumbsup:

I still loved the reaction from the blms when those three hatis (undead dogs) ran into camp at the same time. "Rones pulled the dog pound". Funniest part was when all three died at the exact same time. Was utter chaos, but so much fun.

Btw.. the BLMs were...
Starting off.. Neovivi, Myself, Ajs, Zeo, and Hamlett. Later in the night Neo left and Cyro replaced him.. and a bit later Zeo left and Drkstr replaced him... everyone was Awesome ;)

For all you BLMs, these guys get the '-'b in my book for KRT cannons! XD

In this day and age of the roving sky pt, getting a good manaburn is sometimes the easiest way to get an invite. You need to be fearless and you need to think on your feet in order for it to be special. Perhaps we should all have a list of blm or brd that are keen on this kind of party that welcome approaches to form manaburn whether your flag is up or not. I'm not saying that you HAVE to accept, just that you welcome the principle of being asked without irritation. Perhaps a new thread asking for blm names wishing to be part of this might be an idea?

For what it's worth, I would also like to add that Rones is a great player. He is not only very good but also very nice - a rarity. It's always a pleasure to play with him.
 
Is there anyguides on a "manaburn party" I get the concept but have never seen it nor do I fully understand it.

What does that party consist of 4blm, whm and a bard?

What levels and areas is it possible?

I've only ever done manaburn 73-75. There are many different types of manaburn. The type that Rones was part of was 5 x blm and 1 x brd.
No need for loads of healing as the mob should be one shotted most times.
5 x Thunder IV does the trick for singles
5 x Thundaga III does the trick for multiples

Thanks for the kind words Atf. You still off visiting family? Heard you weren't getting back until the 8th.
 
Rones makes sure I get haste in dynamis even if hes not in my alliance! I think he may have other motives then my well being though.:crazy:
