Router Trouble

This should be an easy one for you folks but I still want to ask irregardless. I have a NetGear wireless router WRG v6 that is emitting a strange, piercing sound. The frequency of the noise is very high and annoying and stops when I unplug the router. Is there anything I can do to stop it or is my router just going over the deep end?

Yeah, I already hit it a couple of times. I think it's a bad plug-in port or something. I don't know. Still sucks either way.

consult the manufacterer(sp?) or return it to the store for a new one ?

sounds like a power supply problem and it most likely means it is about to die.

Yup, pretty much pooped out. Got a linksys to replace it. Much nicer. ;D
