Name: Jinnai
Age: 24
Race: Male Elvaan
Alliance: Childhood: San d'Oria, Now: Windurst
Job(s): Samurai and Ninja

Jinnai was four when the Great War was near an end. His parents were sent to a search site by the San d'Orian General, Jinnai doesn't know who though. The search site mission was a trap. The General had told the beastmen that they will be attacking somewhere in La Theine, so a big force was there, but well hidden. When they arrived, his parents told him to stay on the hill. Jinnai watched, as they arrive, and the beastmen jump out, and mutilate his parents. Jinnai was stunned. Emotionless, yet crying in on the inside. After the beastmen were done, they left. Jinnai had already left, and headed to anywhere. He was in deep pain. He arrived at Selbina. He was given a place to stay at the Weaver's Guild, as long as he made materials for them. Whenever a ship loaded, he help unload and load in order for him to get paid.

Then one day, a ship full of pirates, were smuggling outlawed weapons and armor to Windurst, had supplies hidden in Selbina. Jinnai went to help load, however, the pirates doubted he could lift such heavy boxes. He managed to do it, and that shocked the pirates. The pirates asked if they could hire him to help unload in Windurst. Jinnai had no parents, so no one cared.

They arrived at Windurst, and got everything unloaded. The pirate boss gave Jinnai a great katana, and told him to practice, and he might be able to join his crew some day. They left Jinnai in windurst, and Jinnai was happily welcomed.

Jinnai grew up in Windurst for 20 years. He had no idea what his last name was, so he is just known as Jinnai. He worked for Windurst for pay, and he did it well. Even though, he can't get any sleep anymore, he always has that image of that terrible event with his parents. He has grudge against San d'Oria, and a hatred for their knights.

Copellia's Profile

Job/Sub job: Theif
Character Age: 24
Height /weight: 5' 2",118
Living Family Members:None
Home Land/ Race: Bastok, Hume
Eye and Hair Color:Burnt Umber, Crow
Character's Full Name: Copellia Selias Atternum
Deceased Family Members: Josias (Mother), Seth (Father), Atreu (Brother)

Her Past: Many years ago she watched the air ship sail high and into the noon Bastok sky. The jewel tone waters rippled like silk cloth and shattered like sugar glass against the hull of the ship as it lulled foreward it's bulk slowly pulled into the sky. Her eyes were blurry, the young girl having run out to the draw bridge as soon as she had awoken. Despite her attempt it was all too late. Her parents had set out to Jueno, without her and her sibling, that bitter winter's day.

On the foot steps of the Auction Houses she and her brother pleaded their case, dirt and tears staining their faces. But Bastok was as poor as they, in some cases. In others, well, people simply did not have it in them to 'waste' their hard earned gil on two hopeless children. Needs never met and wants never satisfied drove an over protective older brother to the job of theif. He taught what he could to his sister, tips and tricks on how to scam one's way through life. But Copellia wanted another life for herself and her loved one--one free of begging and tattered clothing. Despite her brother's shouted words she never gave up on seeing their parents again, saving what precious little she could for an pass on the Airship.

While she worked her fingers to the bone doing house hold chores for anyone who would allow it, Atreu stole from passers by and familiar faces alike. His lack of discrimination lead to his being arrested while trying to steal from the air ship docks a bag which belonged to a San'dorian woman, painfully well dressed and decorated in sparkling finery. While attempting his get away he made a wrong turn, coming face to face with the guards which had aided the San'dorian pilgrim.
With out a word, and with out a trace, Atreu was never again seen in that place. With just herself to support Copellia made it a long way--learning invaluable lessions from her brother's foolish mistakes.

Assumption, a flaw of her personality. Copellia was quick to assume if not quicker to act off of said assumption. After a short six months she had given up on ever seeing her brother again--having muttered a short prayer as a final good bye well before anything was made certian.

Each day and night she worked along side the Galka, shouldering her work load and their distain. And for what? So that she could some day afford a trip across the frothy seas before her name was well known. That was until she turned the age of twenty one.

Her Present: Considered too broken to continue physical labor Copellia found herself in even worse of a situation than before. Either she could give up on her parents, her past something to ignore. Or she could drag herself to her feet and work for all that she was worth--work even harder than before. Granted all that she made was barely enough to keep logs on her hearth. With bones near shattered and her heart bruised and battered--she vowed to herself that she would be thwarted by no social ladder. Beg she did with out a tear in her eyes for jobs and shelter from passers by. For the sake of her future pride in herself she shed her dignity, back bussily scrubbing floors while on hand and knee. She was never full and got to sleep on clean bed sheets, but she was happy as long as she could have shoes to be worn out on her feet.

Most would be heart broken to have no reason for good byes and farewells. Copellia, not being like most, rather embraced the fact that there was no reason for tears to be shed and for hearts to ache. Although she had lived in Bastok all of her life she had never gone as far as to grow fond of anyone, or to even have someone show fondness towards her. Not to say that she was a cold hearted woman, no. She simply did not want to cause pain to others when she chose to depart. Yes. She intended on following her heart, on chasing down her parents even if it was just to find shallow graves.

Through all of the hardship and all of the pain, one paragraph did she run through her head again and again:

I have no parents: I make Heaven and Earth my parents.
I have no home: I make awareness my home.
I have no life or death: I make the tides of breathing my life and death.
I have no divine power: I make honesty my divine power.
I have no means: I make understanding my means.
I have no magic secrets: I make character my magic secret.
I have no body: I make endurance my body.
I have no eyes: I make the flash of lightning my eyes.
I have no ears: I make sensibility my ears.
I have no limbs: I make promptness my limbs.
I have no strategy: I make "Unclouded by thought" my strategy.
I have no design: I make "seizing opportunity by the forelock" my design.
I have no miracles: I make right action my miracles.
I have no principles: I make adaptability to all circumstances my principles.
I have no tactics: I make emptiness and fullness my tactics.
I have no talent: I make ready wit my talent.
I have no friends: I make my mind my friend.
I have no enemy: I make carelessness my enemy.
I have no armor: I make benevolence and righteousness my armor.
I have no castle: I make immovable mind my castle.
I have no sword: I make absence of mind my sword.

Strong words which gave her the strength to carry on. Words that she mutters to herself even to this very day...

Her Future:What the world holds for Copellia is unknown. Having set off for Sand'oria on foot, she currently works at whatever place will accept her help. In recent days she has taken up the trade which (possibly) ended her brother's life--that of being a theif.
She has no pride in what she does, but in what the result of her work may be.

To be a theif is simply the means to a better life, not the entire story.
Even now her goal is to be face to face with her parents, if only to deliver the sorrowful news of what their negligence has cost her and Atreu both. The road is not just paved with stolen goods, but with fame and a name well remembered in Bastok and around Vana'diel.

Her Personality: Copellia is like a polished mirror, showing to others what they show her. Often times the smile she wears is simply a mask--as she is unsure of just what she is feeling. She is a woman who has been so far consumed by her work that she has lost herself.Once unable to hold her head high or to speak above a whisper she is doing what she can to be the person who she always wanted to be.

Update: This will be written into a story later, but Copellia has given up on both Bastok and San d'oria, she is now a Windurstian.

Might as well post this here. Can't do any harm. I used the expansion(CoP) to my advantage, as well as my knowledge of Tavnazia through Sandy Rank missions in creating a backstory for my character...Sooo...Here it is:

Name: Cythe Adelmo (For those of you who do not know, Adelmo means "noble protector." Figured it was suiting.)

Place of Birth: Tavnazia

Age: 23

I'll leave general look to my in game avatar.

Backround:

Twenty years ago, there was a small boy by the name of Cythe Adelmo. He was only 3 at the time, and had never even stepped foot out of Tavnazia. His name came from his father's, giving him common nicknames amongst the townfolk like "Little Cythe." Cythe's father was a great man; a noble Paladin known amongst his comrades for his undeniable bravery and strength. From the first time Cythe ever layed eyes on his father in shining armor, he wanted to be just like him. He even picked up his first sword and shield at the age of 3, though only in the form of non sharpened light steel that was about as dangerous as his other toys.

Cythe's mother, on the other hand, was a petite young woman named Leah who was very peaceful and nuturing. But she had quite a temper, and every townsperson in Tavnazia knew to never awaken the wrath of THAT woman. Either way, that happened on the rarest of occasions only, and Cythe had only witnessed it once or twice in his lifetime. He lived an average content life with his family for the most part, only missing his father at times thanks to certain circumstances...

At the time, a great war was going on and Cythe's father would leave everyday for the battlefields. Cythe did not know where he was really going, only being told he was on "guard duty." Sometimes his father would come back wounded and tired to the point where he began to catch onto the fact that something was amiss, even though he was only 3 years old. Soon after, his suspicions were met when horrible news reached his home. One day, one of the Tavnazian squires burst through the door, looking frantic and afraid. He went straight up to Leah, urging her to get up.

"We must flee! The beastmen hordes have found us and are storming the city!"

Deep down inside, Leah knew this day was coming all along. She stood up without a word, picking up Cythe into her arms. Cythe was confused in all of this sudden action, and asked just as any child his age would...

"Mommy...What's happening?"

"Nothing dear...We need to just go somewhere else to visit some friends for the time being."

"Why?"

"That, I can explain to you later. But we have to hurry or we'll be late...You wouldn't want to be late for your friends, would you?"

Cythe shook his head slowly, still confused, but not wanting to anger his mother. They hurried out the door, following the squire to where shelter was being designated. What greeted Cythe was a fearsome sight indeed. Orcs were everywhere, waging battle with the knights who worked so hard to protect Tavnazia. The blood of the innocent and warrior had been spilled forth onto the grounds of a city that had only known peace before this day. Cythe would never forget that day.

They continued to follow the squire, who had now drawn his weapon, hoping that they would not attract the attention of the marauding orcs. Unfortunately, they did. An arrow whizzed from the right, striking the squire right in the leg. Leah screamed and began to run. She only made it about 5 steps before being knocked into by another knight trying to fend off an orc. Cythe was knocked from her arms and rolled into a nearby merchants stand.

As he got up and regained his composure, he saw before him the body of the squire that was just escorting them spread on the ground...And the orc that killed him marching toward his now fallen mother. His instincts to protect went off like an alarm, and the little 3 year old ran at the orc doing the only thing he could think of...Screaming at the top of his lungs. The orc stopped in mid walk, turned to the boy, and struck a blow to him that would send him flying. He hit that ground hard, barely keeping consciousness. His mothers screams filled his ears as he sit there, unable to get up. He knew what had happened...And he knew he was next.

The orc came charging toward him, axe raised in the air. The panic striken boy only sit there, his eyes wide open in terror. Suddenly, a sword came off the side of his line of vision, meeting the axe on the downswing and stopping it. The armored knight then spun to his left, driving his sword deep into the orc as he did so. He pulled the sword back out, delivering one final down slash to slay the beast. The orc fell motionless, and the knight removed him helmet. It was none other than Cythe's father.

"Daddy!"

"Cythe, we must go now!"

At this point, the boy was crying uncontrollably in fear and sadness for the loss of his mother. His father swooped him up, breaking immediately into a full dash away from the chaos. As he was carried, Cythe noticed something in the backround. He saw a man surrounded by more orcs then he could ever face alone. The man held something in his hands...Whatever is was seemed to give off a sort of glow. Before Cythe could figure out just what he was holding, the orcs closed in, blocking off his vision. It was at that point that Cythe witnessed what would be later known as the destruction of Tavnazia. White light erupted from the direction of the orcs, giving off a shine so bright that no one in the area could see anything. Seconds later it expanded at drastic speeds, and Cythe blacked out.

What could have been hours or days later, Cythe awoke. He found himself in a small tent-like structure, among other people who seemed to have suffered wounds of sorts. His body was in immense pain, but he managed to get up and began to walk toward the exit of the tent. Someone called out to him to stop, and not to go outside...But he ignored such pleas, and before they could stop him, he was outside.

...It was all gone...

Tavnazia lay in ruins...Nothing was left standing but the few tents that had been constructed by the survivors. He ran to the other tents, calling out for his father. In each tent he found many people, but not his father. Finally, there was only one tent left. He walked in to find a man...A man his father had known. Their eyes locked for a second, and the man shook his head. Cythe Sr. was dead.

20 years later...

Cythe had grown very much. He was 23 now, and a well known charismatic man that much resembled his father. He himself had become a Paladin, and was rumored to be the best that Tavnazia had ever seen even in it's glory days. As he had been growing up, he helped rebuild bits of Tavnazia as best as possible. Everyone knew of his deeds, and he was enemy of none.

One day, he went to the current leaders of Tavnazia with a proposal.

"I want to go to the mainland. I am going to leave Tavnazia."

Now at the time, such things were thought of as insane. No one had ever left, not because they did not want to, but because they could not. There was no way back. They pleaded with him to throw away such crazy ideas and to please stay. There is no way to leave. It has already been tried.

"I will find a way."

He saluted, turned, and walked out. No one could stop him, and they all knew it. The next day, he set out with all that he could bring, heading for Lufaise Meadows. The townspeople all saw him off, reminding him to return soon if he found a way at all. In their minds, they all thought that if anyone could find a way out of there, he could. He promised he would. And with that, he walked off into the ends of Lufaise, searching for a way to the outside world.

Okie doke...so here's my profile. And don't worry, I'm a good RP'er...I'm just too lazy to think up fancy intros 'n stuff...

Character Name: Zydrel Seyzet
Nation: Windurst
Hobbies: Fishing, Alchemy
Current Job: Black Mage
Age: 17
Eye Color: Blue
Hair color: Dirty Blonde
Height: 5'11"
Weight: 138 pounds

In the lands to the west, there is a small fishing village that doesn't take kindly to black magic. The name of it, I cannot remember, nor where exactly it is. For you see, I can hardly remember anything about where I'm from, just, how I got here...

I've always had a knack for black magic. My mother, a witch herself, had been teaching me since I said my first words. I know nothing of my father, save that he died in the Great War just before I was born. My mother, who had not yet given birth to me, decided to leave Vanadeil in search of a more peaceful place to raise her child. The best place she could find, was the said village.

My mother, who lived just outside this village, started teaching me at a very early age and I progressed quickly, however, my talent was never to be spoken of. My mother told me never even to speak of magic, pretend I had never heard the word. But as I grew, suspicians arose.

When I was 15, I was still skiny, weak and pale. Not exactly the warrior type. I used fishing as an excuse, but even that held loosly due to my pale complection. I insisted that's how I would make a living when I left on my 18th birthday.

When I had just turned 17, my mother arranged for me to go to Vanadeil and see where I would continue as a black mage. Obviously, I went to Windurst first. There, I aquainted Mai Ikari...Oh you know of her? She's in this guild? heh...small world. I would like to meet her some other time. As I was saying, I enjoyed my stay here. It was so liberating to finaly show my true talent. It almost broke my heart when I had to leave this wonderful part of the world. I returned and slipped back into silence.

A few months after I had returned, I got myself into some trouble. I forget exaclty how, but I needed someone to not see me. I cast the most simplest spell to blind him, but at the last moment, he turned around and saw my face. When his vision returned, he told the church, the church told their paladins, their paladins brought me to the church and I awaited trial. I knew I would be hanged the moment they knocked on my door. I had no choice but to comply. The trial didn't help either. The final sentence was far worse. They would gouge out my eyes with hot skewers, hang me, then burn me, as a witch and a heritic. Though, in that town, they are pretty much one in the same. What makes me laugh is they fled from their own country to escape religous prosecution, themselves.

They let me rot in jail for a few days before they would carry out their sentence. My mother, however handed me the Tome of Moan. She said use it only if there is no other alternitive. Weak and powerless, I had no choice but to look inside. I remember nothing beyond that, except a bright flash, and opening my eyes to find myself standing in Port Windurst. The Tome, however, had wiped my memory of my beloved magic completly clean. I could cast nothing but stone, however, I could cast with the same skill as I once had, just not the power. Such held true with the others as I found the scrolls. I found that I had not forgotten the spells, they were just lying dormant. As I grow, more than just spells re-surface. I remember more and more of what happened, where I'm from, and all of the dark spots in my story. I just have to wait until my memory completly returns. The tome left something in me, however. Something dark and evil. I can call upon this inner demon and I will be in controll, however, I will be someone else. I can cast without tiring, but the more I use it, the more this demon will influence me. I do not wish to slip into cruelty and madness, however, if that is what it takes to achive what I must, then so be it.

In the meantime, however, I will seek my revenge. I have a craving, no, a lust for raw, unadulturated power, and I will have it, or die trying. I will return one day, when the time is right, and I will show them the mistake they have made. They will rue the day the comdemned me. Until then, I must tell myself, revenge is a dish best served cold.

This is the old profile for my two characters I RP: Kikona and Mittens.
I'll probably end up changing something eventually, but I left them as they were.

First up is Kiko.

Name: Kikona Krystalis
Nation: Bastok
Hobbies: Treasure hunting.
Current Job: Thief/Warrior
Age: 22
Eye Color: Brown
Hair color: Dark brown
Height: 5'1"

Background: At the age of eight, she lost her father, and literally pushed her younger sister into the fate of death. Afterwards, she had been taken in by two Bastokan Tarutaru. Soon after, she met a boy somewhat older by the name of Kosoki. Young and foolish, they managed to stole away to Windurst where they spent following years together, being generously raised by the Mithra and Tarutaru. They returned to their home nation eventually, which Kosoki sought off to become a Paladin, leaving a still young and immature Kikona. Bastok had gained many new followers, foreigners, and inhabitants- she could never find those two Tarutaru left behind.

By chance, she came across Ellion. He helped restore order to her life, making it comfortable for a time being. This was when her ideals slowly began to shift both ways. But compelled to find Kosoki, feeling driven at the time, Kikona left Ellion without word. It could have possibly driven her mad, the decision she made, as not much later after excessive travel, she began terribly missing Ellion and was finding it impossible to find Kosoki. With the return to Bastok, Ellion was nowhere to be found. Haunting dreams of her younger sister's death were reviving again as well, only taking a stronger hold on her mind. From there on, she's grown, easily influenced by her surroundings or to be more exact, people. More or less, she's unaware of her actions and treatment towards and even forgetful of new acquaintances sometimes.

Kikona has since become fully aware of everything she does. She did find Ellion, and though she had hoped it would remain well... it didn't. After Selbina, she hasn't seen Ellion since. Since that day, Kikona hadn't seen Brin either, who she recently found out to be dead. Perhaps the one thing that's caused a major difference in the way she sees things now, is that her younger sister that died many years back has taken form again, say, as a spirit, ghost. Whether it's the working of Kikona's own mind or if it could really be Kiijita who visits Kikona constantly now, is unsure to her. The loss of everything she had ever held dear though, and even those she thought were friends to her, she tries to care no more for. Kiijita pressures her constantly to take action, to take the lives of those who have hurt her. Kikona instead, just keeps herself mindlessly drunk to avoid it. She still interacts with people, but tries to push away the demands of Kiijita.

Latest:: Well, a whole lot has happened. Too much to explain...

Kikona has more or less lost it just about. Kiijita's driven her to the point of insanity. She plans to travel to the Hall of the Gods after speaking with Brin in a dream, who referred to the place as the "ultimate redemption". There she seeks the removal of the lingering spirit of her sister. All Kikona wishes for is a death while at peace with herself. This cannot be done so long as Kiijita continuously interferes with every minute of her life, constantly persuading evil deeds. What will happen once Kiijita has disappeared from her life, Kikona is unsure. The wrong image has been built up around her now, and the fact she associates with Ellion labels her in league with those not of Altana or good.

Now for Mittens~

Name:: Mieh Dou
Age:: 17
Nation:: Bastok
Height:: 5'3"
Hair Color:: Blonde
Eye Color:: Blue
Jobs:: Paladin

Personality:: Raised by Bastokan beliefs, also she remains loyal to Altana yet isn't forceful, as other things usually occupy her mind. Flirtatious with Hume males, and admires the strength and will of the Galka. Elvaan and Tarutaru she hasn't been around all too much, yet finds them interesting as well. In general, she's kind to all, yet hard on herself to succeed and protect. Fancies friendly competition in almost anything, and rarely holds grudges or hard feelings. Always one to keep giving chances over and over again, as she doesn't like to give up on people, regardless of their actions.

Background:: Mieh was born in Kazham, but doesn't remember the place at all. Her father (yes, the rare male Mithra) had brought her to Bastok as he broke away from the Mithran area to travel, only able to take up one of his children and leave before being discovered. Unprepared for the harsh conditions of which his travels would take him, he was only able enough to make it to Konschat Highlands. Worn and weary, he felt mistakened for his actions, especially bringing one of his own into the mess. With a struggle to the crag, it was there he finally gave out upon the sight of a small group of Galka. The small child, much like a kitten, was observed and taken up into the arms of one of the Galka, meanwhile the father examined. All he had, had been given in order to sustain Mieh's healthiness through the travel, and it was only time before his body would give out.

It was now, that Mieh was taken to Bastok by the Galka. There had been small words exchanged, weakly from the father, in concern for his daughter. From that point on, the small Mithra would be raised by the Galka who found her.

Mieh heard this story many times, always willing to hear it again. For a long time it burned inside her mind, as to why her father hadn't allowed himself to be cared for and carried back to Bastok, but with time's pass, she learned to accept the fact and realized it brought her into a life she enjoyed very much.

The Galka were very protective of her, raising her in the nation of Bastok. They feared she might be mistreated as was their own race at times, and thus secluded her from many of the young Hume children. However, upon the entrance into Bastok with Mieh for the first time, an old woman had spotted the young Mithra, not even noting her appearance, but rather the clothing. The old woman had pointed out what large mittens the child wore, which soon would be a given nickname.

Being raised was an experience for Mieh, as she was taught to be hardworking, consistant, and respectful to her elders. This was a larger part of her learning until years later when she was able to venture on her own. Religiously though, she was naive for too long until one day when she sat waiting patiently for her Galkan family to dismiss from a meeting occuring with Cid inside the Metalworks. Mieh spotted a man doned in large robes entering a room she had never noticed before, and for the sake of curiousity, she took the elevator down quickly to follow. Entering the small room, she saw it was like a small basement, and discovered it to be an altar to Altana for worship. It was then she asked the robed man what this was for, and from there on, she was inclined to learn and praise the Goddess.

Time passed quickly, and it wasn't long until it had reached the point where Mieh wanted to shape her future by herself. The instant thought was her becoming a warrior and defender for Bastok, inspired by the strength of her family. Taking on such a responsibility, it was final that the Mithra could explore the outlands of Bastok and travel within the city on her own. Almost immediately she was enthralled by the sight of all the young people she could finally acquaint with, preferably the Hume boys she had been so withdrawn from for the longest time. A kindness swept through all of her encounters though, because Mieh sought friendships and social status. She was always trying to be unaware to the cruel and harsh realities that some look upon her with, preferring to ignore it and hope for the better.

Mieh's Galkan family might as well all be considered dead to her. The one she held closest to her had been killed, with two others, by stealthy means of Mali (Later Kikona ended up kidnapping Mali and leaving her stranded in Valkurm Dunes, lol). Whether it was a way of getting back at Mieh for taking an obvious liking to Hayato, is unknown to the Mithra. The only thing which bothers Mieh from time to time, is that in a fit of anger, Mieh had taken a lance to which would be the death of Mali, yet Hayato stopped her. A feeling compelled her not to kill either of them though (or atleast try). Mieh assumed this as Altana's work, and eventually it was seen that though Mali took lives, Mieh shouldn't live with the burden of taking away a life of the nation she strives to protect.

Hayato and Mieh ended up spending a majority of their time together for awhile, and during that time, Mieh had failed to notice Hayato's feelings over her.

They traveled to Kazham, and Hayato wanted Mieh to see what was truly her home. Docking, the first encounter they had was with Kitsomi, now a High Priestess. Mieh had no part in the conversation, and drifted off to explore the small town. It was exciting to see fellow Mithra (though she wondered where all the males were, as she's never seen one, and can't remember the face of her father), but... she was raised in Bastok, and found herself though favoring Kazham, not in love with it as she was with the nation of technology.

While in Kazham, she did meet someone new. It wouldn't be until the following morning when she leaves Kazham alone on the airship that she comes across the man again, soon to be known as Aidyn. Ever since, as she had easily picked up with Hayato, she has spent all her time with Aidyn. She acknowledges Hayato no differently, and can't see why he is so upset over it.

Visiting the graves of her loved ones, Mieh came across a small group of people. Kitsomi, Kimota, Hayato, and Lecan. It enraged Mieh that she didn't see the so called High Priestess paying respects, yet prancing around on the monument. Shortly after, requesting many times that respect either be paid or they leave, Lecan developed a large distaste for her. Kimota showed no problem, and to Mieh's surprise, ridded of Enchanted Bones and prayed that maybe the spirit controlling may find their rest. A disagreement with Kitsomi would be what does Mieh in, as Lecan attacks her. Throughout the time of Lecan's verbal or physical attacks, she would not arm herself unless ridding away the Enchanted or goblins seeking their treasure among the graves. So, she allowed herself harmed unless one of the others stood up for her, but even then, appreciation wasn't much shown all the way down to leaving the sacred grounds. Mieh appears to dislike Kitsomi, but in truth, the Mithra is not what she dislikes, it is the title she upholds herself with. The man, possibly Elvaan, that brought Mieh into the belief of Altana never boasted of himself as the High Priest, yet was collected and merely shared what inspired her to become religious. None of this sank into Lecan's mind as he did continue his attacks. A young Hume girl by the name of Iseria would be the one to come to Mieh's rescue.

With herself out of harm, Mieh chose to leave. Before she could though, she saw Hayato. For that moment, maybe, she decided to open up to what was the problem between them. Strong feelings not met by the other. Yet, she promised to return to him one day. In their last meeting, Mieh had exclaimed she was going to become a Paladin. Hayato understood this, but Mieh would never explain it was Aidyn who inspired this, and that they would spend more time together than she would ever want Hayato to know. A moment of consideration on his feelings.
Saying goodbye, she left Hayato to wait for his High Priestess from there.

Latest::

Mieh successfully achieved Paladin and has been working nonstop with her new job. For a few weeks she was kept in San d'Oria to learn more, and was considered a royal guard for the time being. During that time Mieh encountered only the trouble of a group inside a tavern. She soon recognized one of them as Kitsomi, and the dislike between them seemed enhanced. Remaining calm, Mieh tried to escort them for their strange disturbance, outside of the tavern. Kitsomi with Ikari and Gevan, followed. They would eventually return, which caused Mieh to be called back. This time Hayato was there. This took her by surprise, but she did her job regardless. Overall it amounted to nothing, and she left to stand outside the tavern as her post for the remaining hours of the day she had. Truly she let Kitsomi's harsh attitude slide in respect for Hayato. Not much happened afterwards, and once her post was done, she spent some time with Hayato catching up.

Since that night, Mieh has since returned to Bastok where she will be found. Placed under the command of Invincible Shield, it's most likely the hardest part she'll encounter in training with Paladin... (for anyone who knows I.S., he's rather mean, even to his own men. XD)

I've been roleplaying for quite awhile int his game. Thought me and my friend Hayako were the only ones! :?

Name: Excim Ralyon

Age: 36

Background...

Excim grew up near Vomp Hill in the Gustaberg Region. He and his mother lived a simple life as farmers, and nothing really eventful befell him as a child. His father had fought through the Beastmen wars, and lived. He passed away quietly at home about two years ago due to an illness.

This mundane life is what Excim enjoyed. He had planned on taking over his parents farm, settling down with a beautiful woman, and having a family of his own. These were his dreams up until a year ago...
Then he met Hayako, a strange Mithra with a penchant for trouble. They met on a hot day in Gustaberg. She was lost and needed directions. As Excim was returning from leading her to town, he noticed... his wallet was missing. So was his gil pouch.
He looked everywhere for Hayako, searching the markets, the port, even venturing into the mines he dreaded so much. After a full day of exhausting searching, he returned home, empty handed.
"You don't rrrrreally want to live life like this. You don't rrrrreally want to fade away, like generations did before you. Is this rrrrreally what you want?" Hayako's voice was quiet, but stern as she emerged from near his doorway. Excim was bewildered.
"Besides, I could use you. You look tough enough, just need a bit of trrrrraining."
It is true, Excim secretly yearned for a life of fame. A life of meaning. The life of a hero.
"And I'm the one who can help give that to you." Hayako winked at him as she began to walk away. "Follow me."

For a year now, Hayako has been teaching Excim the arts of war. But more importantly, the arts of protection. Excim even came into his own, leading a ragtag band of adventurers calling themselves the Atma Weapons. He has begun to taste fame, to taste a life he had only dreamed could exist. He even fell in love with Hayako, and proposed to her. He has begun to see a larger picture of life, of the world that lay at his feet.
Then there is Hayako. Why did she pick him? Maybe it was because he was so gullible. Easily manipulated. She certainly had made the protector and guardian she had wanted of him. Maybe that was the original intent. But only Hayako knows what drove her to shadow Excim that fateful day, where she could have robbed him blind and left it at that.

These days, Excim enjoys being rowdy at the Merry Minstrel in Lower Jeuno, oft times by himself. But he is always ready to draw arms to fight the beastmen hordes, and he is now driven to become the hero that his ancestors had never intended to be.

Excim Ralyon the Paladin!

Quick Bio:

Brin was born in San d'Oria with only his mother, Lilith Ahrline, to take care of him. His father had left with Brin's older brother Vide to escape the clutches of those who wanted him dead becuase of the evil which grew in his heart.

Over the years, Brin's mother died when he was 10 years old. An old friend of Brin's father, Brindalo, took the young elvaan under his wing to train him and take care of him. It was for the next many years that Brin grew up in Jeuno until the assasination of his mentor. He was 18 at this time, and after the incident Brin decided to return to San d'Oria.

Eventually, Brin became a dragoon and went on many adventures, meeting many different people. When he finally found his father in the Northlands and knew there was no way to save him, the two fought to the death. Both Brin and his father died.

After three years, Brin was reborn amazingly. Not only was he reborn but his soul was of pure Light. Without anyone's knowledge, another Brin had been reborn as well......one who's soul was of pure Darkness. Before running into his evil doppelganger though, Brin ended up going on many more adventures, married Mai Ikari, and re-established himself as a great and noble knight.

Once the two Brins met each other finally......all hell broke loose. A final fight brought the Brin of Light to a point of losing his memory and his sight, while Brin of Dark took his place as the Dark Dragoon of San d'Oria...thinking all the while that his goody good counterpart was dead.

Name: Nitram Sieghard (Brave Victory)

Age: 21

Sex: Male

Martial Status: Single during the day occupied at night.

Nationality: San d'Oria

Quick Bio:

Born to a family not remembered. My oldest memory is of myself staring at the sun with sand in my eyes and my breath heavy. My father tells me he found me like that as a young boy in valkurm during the war. He was the Commander of a special Dragoon squad he won't name, I took after him in that respect.

Highly honorable he almost didn't save me he admits, being a soldier left him no time for raising a child, but he couldn't leave me. I grew up learning the San d'Orian ways of self-sacrifice and dignity. Can't say I'd like it any other way. The Bastokan humes use and abuse the Galka, and there too ignorant to do anything about it. The Mithra only wish to decieve and the Taru cannot hold themeselves up without using magic.

I digress, I learned the way of the Dragoon from my father and the studies of magic from my mother, a nurse in the military. I never showed much progress but my father won't admit I'm better than him, ha!

Recently I learned a little of my birth family, I cannot say I like it much. My mother was a thief and my father was a bard, A BARD! Apperently they were on the run from Bastokan enforcement for some reason or another and were slain by the desert. I have tried to follow in their steps to learn more about them.

I now adventure through the world and try to be the best Dragoon this generation has seen, I have competition and I wouldn't have it any other way.
