What on earth has happened... 360 was supposed to be all about FPS games... I am loving this. Seriously loving it. If there are others, sorry i didnt place them. This group can be added to the already sweet list of released RPGs for 360.

Hehe I know :P and I swear there are more, but I can't remember atm. I wonder if Disgaea will go to 360 too now XD

Most RPGs of the newer systems and still probably trailing the PS2 in it's geriatric years. Too bad there's no single leader like the last 2 gens to push out insane amounts of RPGs.

Meh not interested in Fable 2 or Fallout 3, otherwise the others, hot.

How are you not interested in them? D: Fable 2 sounds so fun, being able to buy every freaking building in a city (even castles :P). That sounds hawtness. I can't wait for it to be on PC cause I'll get it for that for sure.

Fallout 3 is just sounding more epic every bit more I learn about it :D I loved Fallout 1 and 2 and can't wait for 3.

The other RPGs look so awesome too. Sad I'll not get to play Infinite Undiscovery (or is it Undescovery?) other than at my friend's house a bit but :\ ah well.

Fable was such a good game in some ways... It did have its issues and was so damn short. Most of all for me i had a blast while playing it, then playing it again from another side. It was a very fun game, thats what we want most out of these things anyways eh? Fun? I can only be optamistic for the second installment.

Never cared for the original Fable, don't care for the sequel. And never cared for Fallout 1 or 2.
Guess I just prefer JRPGs :P

I can understand after you say you are big on Jrpg's. Without that i would just shake my head at you... lol. I could go for any type of RPG as long as i dont fall asleep.

Infinite Undiscovery is the only one there I am not too sure about. From what I read on the battle system, I don't exactly think it will appeal to me. That, or I misunderstood it. From what I read though, it seemed to be pretty close to the gambit system in FFXII which I hated.

My RPG backlog is crazy, so I'll probably wait on a price drop for all except FF13 and maybe Tales... I think it's understandable tho...

I still need to play...

All 3 Shadow Hearts for PS2.
Rogue Galaxy
Persona 1-3
Both Star Oceans
Both PS1 Tales
Tales of Symphonia, Eternia
Disgaea 2
FF: Crisis Core
Skies of Arcadia
Xenosaga 3
Suikoden 5
Chrono-cross

And I still gotta finish Lost Odyssey, Disgaea 1 and Tales of the Abyss...

I doubt I'll finish Mass Effect or Elder Scrolls Oblivian... they both bored me.

It's pretty sickening, cause I'm talking about games I own... yet I'm strangely impatient for new games to come out.

At any rate. Tales of Vesperia and FF13 for me. I don't know about Star Ocean, because the PS2 one bored me A LOT and I haven't opened the PS1 one yet.

But I mean... when you look at the huge mass of PS1 and PS2 RPGs, it's almost good that this gen is so freaking weak RPG wise, because I bet most of us have games left to beat... or overlooked PS2 RPGs we might want to buy and get into.

I only had 2 problems with Fable. One was that being good or evil had absolutely no effect on the gameplay at all. They only changed your appearance when you got far enough along their paths; I played it twice, one being perfectly good, the other perfectly evil, and both had the exact same experience. Since I played on the PC, I got the lost chapters, which let me pick either the ultimate power sword(evil) or I could use some other legendary hero's sword which just happened to be exactly as powerful.

The other problem ties into the first: it was no where near what was promised. I was promised a world where my every action had unique consequences; where I could be good or evil and change the world. Instead I can be nice or bad, but it doesn't matter at all which I am. Peter Molyneux is one of the biggest blowhards in the gaming industry; every one of his last 3-4 games have fallen far, far short of what he promised. I don't expect Fable 2 to be any closer to the mark.

Fable 1 was fun, I expect Fable 2 to be fun, but I'm not even listening to that douchebag anymore.

Wow, that's exactly how it is for me too. Shadow Hearts is first on the list.

Edit: Add to the list Disgaea 1, suikoden 1-4, xenosaga 2, heh.

I do agree Baj. Even through all this i did enjoy the game... I guess it was due to the world they drop you in. Reminded me of Overlords world... Loved it. If P.M. can deliver on 75% of what he has claimed i will be happy.

I am not a fan of the first Fable. I liked the first two Fallouts but the third one seemsto be a radical enough departure from the first two that I am weary. I hope it rocks but I liked Morrowind waaaay more than Oblivion and I get the feeling it will be the same with Fallout. Out of Last Remnant, Tales of Vesperia, and Infinite Undiscovery I am hopeful one of them is something special. I would say Infinite Undiscovery looks to be the best of those three imo. I am also looking forward to the "action rpg" "dungeon crawling" Too Human.

I too have a huge backlog of games. I doubt I ever really catch up.

I was going to place Too Human up here but i did not want to be attacked by people claiming it is no RPG.

how's it a radical change? :P when they showed the gameplay you are in battle, you choose the body part you want to attack, and you attack. It's got the turn based, choose the body part to attack gameplay that Fallout 1,2 had :D if it has an awesome story and setting (The setting looks awesome) than I'll be pleased.

And as for Too Human.. hmm.. I dunno much about it exactly. Saw one trailer but it looked like a third person shooter.

Too Human is pretty much a Diablo clone set to Norse mythology. It is going to be a co-op gear grind.

Edit: Radical enough departure = new developer, changed to a 1st or over the shoulder 3rd person which makes me weary. Again I hope it is awesome but I have some reservations. They claim you can go through the game as a weakling hacker, stealthy, or as a smooth talker, that you don't have to shoot everything in sight to complete the game. It looks like they focused on the combat side which may make the other possible avenues unbalanced. Maybe not but I can't let myself get too pumped up... yet. ;)

If Fallout 3 is an RPG then throw up Too Human I say. Hell, bein' Diablo-like, Too Human needs to be there anyway.

Out of all of those I probably wont be touchin' Fallout 3 or Fable 2. Shooters that act RPG I've never liked and I hated Fable with a passion.

Eh, the demo left me unimpressed. It looks great, but the actual gameplay is waaaaaaaaaaaaaay to easy. Like, clearing out entire battles without getting hit easy.

And if what Tycho over at PA said is true, the multiplayer is shit.
