Since I noticed this dirt bag is on QCDN, I thought I'd let you know what he/she is like
in game. Most of you have known me for a long time so you know I don't jump in with the
flames as much anymore. Although they are fun to read.

I was soloing BLU/BST in Queef'em west of the pond area in those little corridors. I
was using clippers on wights at night time. My clipper was on it's way to a wight and I
see Rukkia coming up from the open area through the corridor to the pond area with a train
of ghosts and skeletons. This startled me and all thinking of the anti MPK patch etc suddenly
forgotton. I was in no danger but it's old school instinct. I simply said in say mode.

/say "Please don't kill me"

I got a polite tell stating "I'm only doing this to protect others from aggro" (paraphrased).
I replied in tell "It's not helpful plus I'm xping on bones." It really isn't too helpful
because they respawn later. Then I see that Rukkia is holding that train without killing it
or despawning it in some way. So in that regard, I suppose it stops the aggro. However,
people need to learn how to deal with aggro, PLUS Queef'em Island is overcrowded with soloers
and parties so those mobs need to be left alone for all to use.

I pretty much ignored that event since it was over in my book. I saw the train go by and
I needed a skeleton so I sent a crab on one. It didn't get aggro so I withdrew my crab. I
figured it was ok to pull from the train if I needed a skele.

Later on, I see Rukkia still keeping that train going and not killing it. I went to restore
my MP by healing and Rukkia keeps hovering near me. After all of these patches, I'm just not
sure what the mobs will do anymore so to be careful, I get up and move away a bit for more MP
resting. Rukkia follows again. In say mode I ask "Get that train out of here!".

That's when Rukkia walks right on top of me and warps out to Jueno. That ONE skele I hit came
after me but thanks to my Galka Vit and HP, I lived to zone in Duckfart tower where I called
a GM on Rukkia. [GM]Helios (can't remember name but similar to that) was extremely helpful
and polite. I don't know why people complain about GMs but that was the second time in my
2 years of FFXI that I ever called a GM. Both times they were great.

Anyway, just want to let you all know what kind of a person you are playing with if you are
ever in a group or in proximity to Rukkia.

Hey Ruk, It's damn hard to kill a BST Galka. You can, but it's damn hard.

Hey Rukkia!!!

Hey dude, how's blu/bst working out? I just opened blu but haven't done anything with it yet.

Most of AnimalFarm was prodding me to try /BST and let everyone know how it went.
Aside from interferance from people like Rukkia, you know the general type you
get as BST main... Blu/Bst isn't that bad.

I've been 1/2 and 1/2 blu/whm and blu/bst party>>solo.

As you know with BST main, the generally accepted kill method is to release the
pet when the mob is at a sliver of life then Rampage it to death. There is a
margin of error but we all know how to survive is something goes wrong.

BLU/BST is a little more forgiving in the end of the fight. The begining is
rough as I mischarm about 30-40% of the time. At the end of the fight you
can ghetto release much much easier since you don't have to try and get your
pet killed at a spot on certain moment. You an have an EM or a DC prey all
to yourself at level 30 with the prey about 1/4 to 1/2max HP and still live
easily.

TP is an issue too so just let your pet get as much hate as possible and don't
nuke; yet. Get TP by melee then turn away and let your pet die. Once dead,
nuke the hellfire out of the prey and there you go. Leave would be nice but
really it just isn't needed.

Partying with /blm is nice for magic attack bonus earlier that you'd get it
using spell combinations. /whm is good too but normally there are a billion
blu's seeking so just solo or get into a blu-burn party if no normie parties
are available.

Good Luck Fin and nice to see you around. Missed you.

No edit button so I can't fix it. It's just a big middle finger and the
phrase "F%^k you" on it. seemed perfect.
