Rusty Caps

Looking to be a cheap-ass for 30-34 Smithing.
Does anyone know what is the best bait/location to fish these things anymore? Is it even worth the time? If they can be relatively isolated and fished up somewhat often, I'll do it, but I don't wanna commit to it if it's something where I end up with a couple an hour.

Go to Rabao with a rogue/robber rig. Make sure you have moghancement: fishing to increase items over fish. I would guess 6 an hour would be a reasonable expectation, along with a bunch of other junk. Otherwise do some research at finalfishing.info, there might be a better location but I don't know it.

maybe you've figured this out already, or maybe i'm mistaken but...

I believe they deleted the rusty cap recipe to stymie the RMT bots...

Actually, fishing Cave Cherax w/meatballs @ the Devil Manta location in Kuftal has yielded me 2+ levels of fishing skill in a couple days, and 3.5 levels of Smithing skill (on caps). No money from the Manta yet, though.
