Watch out for him, bastard bots AH. I was in sandy and I was short in space so I putted a pair of noct gloves+1 on AH for a shortime and in less than 2 minutes they were sold at 1gil <.<, I feel pretty stupid and it was my fault but there's no way someone could had guessed in so little time and it's not a selling item at all (makes me 2nd guy to ever sell them besides that guy who sold them to hymself <.<)
 
2 minutes is way to long the leave something on AH, you should of sent it through your mog house DB. i put my vermillion cloak on for about 20 seconds for about 10k once the lose signiture cause my g/f didn't know the guy and didn't like it :/

but yeah AH bots suck ass but putting somehting of value on ah for 1 gil is silly also. you pay just about the same the put it up for a somewhat decent price of 10k as you do 1 gil and its less likely the get bought asap :/

Unless the same character has been consistently buying up low priced items this could indeed just be a freak incident.
 
i always bid 1000g on stuff u would not commonly see at a city AH when im there. Idk if u can say he was botting for sure =(
 
Okay... so... set up an AH bot to buy Noct Gloves +1 in a starting city that doesn't have the Cloth Craft guild(The craft needed to make Noct items iirc), and buy them for 1 gil. That right there is one diabolical plan...
 
Haha.

I don't have any toons in Sandy, but perhaps someone who's around those parts can remember to take a screenshot of the pricehistory. Bot or not, Noc Gloves +1 sold for 1g will make a nice pic to look at. ;)

cursed dalmatica -1 for 49gil or whatever ! thats prob a 1 of a kind item, not to mention less than 20 on all servers IMO

I highly doubt it's a bot. Whenever you see something rare up at the AH, you always start with 1 gil. And if you want it, you take the last sold price, eg. 15,000,000. And then you do 15 -> 150 -> 1500 etc. in case they got the zeroes wrong <.<;

So I highly doubt it's a AH bot. Just pure luck (bad luck on your side, good on his XD)
 
lol if i was going to bot an item on AH, it definetely wouldnt be a 50k item.. or however much that sells for these days..

I think.. i think id bot speed belt, K club, or thf knife lol

u know bout once every month or 2, somebody gets lucky and feels the need to show off.. thatd stick one in their corn pipe hehe
 
haha i randomly try when seekn party to catch one of those guys that puts Scorpion Harness and SH+1 for 1 gil....

That wasn't a funny one at all. Krystopher saved for a very very long time to make him a Cursed Dalmatica and he HQed it, the biggest craft of his career. He was in line for the abjuration too, and was putting iton AH to sell to himself, and there you go, bought by a AH botter in JDA for 49G, and to top it off, they were MPKed by none other than JDA when it was Krystopher's turn for A.body at Aspid.

Sick.
