SaGa 2: Hihou Densetsu DS remake

Next up on the Square-Enix DS remake machine is a remake of SaGa 2: Hihou Densetsu, which was known in North America as Final Fantasy Legend II on the Game Boy.

I am pretty stoked for this getting remade and hope future SaGa titles do too. I loved the FF Legends games and other SaGa titles. Though somewhat disappointed it's not the first SaGa/FF Legend title, but maybe sometime down the road.

Square-Enix put up the Japanese SaGa 2 DS site, it's pretty bare-bones at the moment, there is a nice SaGa series retrospective by clicking 20th Anniversary though.
Of course now I want to play SaGa Frontier and Romancing SaGa: Minstrel Song again, as well as the Final Fantasy Legend/SaGa titles, but anyways here's the link.

I wonder if they'll lower the crazy difficulty of the game any.

I actually got up to the last boss, but goddamn is it hard to win that fight

I still have those three games on the old B&W Game Boy cartridges. I didn't beat Final Fantasy Legend 2, but what I played of it was pretty decent for the time. Mostly I think it was just RPG fatigue because I'd just finished the first one.

I'll be buying this remake if we get it.

I hope not, I loved these games, I agree they were hard as hell lol, but that was half the fun of it, to me.
