i was watchin uesugi on ffxi solo some cool things like bugbear matman, some temenos stuff, and other just nm's and bcnms

so i got pumped up and decided to solo jazaraat, and before anyone flames anything this is a thread just to post your accomplishments and show what your proud of, dont smirk or laugh at other people's solos, because every solo helps build skill :]

and dont forget! record them! look at them and watch for mistakes for future usage! lol ok

I'm curious, why aren't you using WS macros? Also, what GK is that?

not something i put alot of time into preparing, my sam/dnc macroset wasnt working out in the beginning so i basically said screw it all and went macroless

that is a soboro, on a previous solo i had gotten him to 18% with hagun and wiped. due to the fact i dont really have an evasion setup, or a brutal yet. I couldnt realy use hagun and expect to win. so the day i got a soboro i went over there and decided to try out my new GK and af2 legs :]

i tried him as /nin and couldnt do it due to the -75% def down tp move he uses. /dnc gives a form of erase to get that off ASAP otherwise as you see in the movie, hell get a 300 crit on you ahaha

they hurt with only 1200 health but anyways it was something fun and i am proud to post it

I plan to solo Rapido as SAM. Stay tuned.
 
Well, no. It'll be totally based on luck. lol

From Seigan to 10,000 Needles, there's room for success, but it may take a few tries.

Gekko > Yukikaze (Induration) > Kasha (Compression) > Yukikaze (Detonation) > Kasha (Gravitation) > Gekko (Darkness)

With no misses, no death from taking too much damage or being interrupted by 10,000 Needles, that's more than enough damage to kill it.

sorry sorry (off subject) I just saw your post. Everytime I see your name I smile. My wife's name is Dawn and last starts with an "N". To see you as a samurai is cool too.


now for solo accomplishments. I guess it's not a lot to brag about but sam/dnc Pallas, and Alky. I actually think Alky is easier to fight than Pallas. It's easy to fight and you get consistant wins but you have to hardcore focus to do it. When you get a tad distracted you could die.

How about solo'ing two Tyranotaurs and an equal teir buffalo in Ulegurande at the same time XD
 
the biggest dmg done as sam would be messing with undead NM's such as the Genkai ones in xarcabard for 4.8k - 5.2k tachi gekko tachi rana adding to that tank Cerberus and make gekkos of 800+ to 1.2kdmg is enough happiness for me even if im not pimping my sam as it should be... just normal stuff between af2 and some other nm gears and stuff u can craft the best way for me is to always keep it equip with acc and haste all over no matter what unless im in charge of just be a tank looking then vit hp+ gear thats easy to get from sky and GK with acc str at least to pissed mobs with a normal dmg continuously lol

wish i had pics of what i have done or what i have solo in game but i never have taken pics ppl that know me knows or have seen me as drk or sam
