Saturday and at work!

Anyone else unfortunate enough to have to work this Saturday (today)?

I mean I am a radio DJ so its not so bad but really I could be doing alot better things at the moment.

Although, my GF gave me something to wake up to this morning so its not so bad.

Soooo, anyone else working if so where do you work that requires your weekends?

yes, it does indeed suck. i have to be at work in 10 minutes and i thought i'd check out the boards. wish i was a dj, though. i'm a freakin' fry cook :x lol but i'll be off by 9 and online^^
 
I am heading into work in a few minutes for a couple hours or so. Basically I don't work on weekends, but after having been away for so long there are a few things that need to be done.

In addition something really cool happened on Friday. I have a bunch of those LaCie 200GB external firewire drives, and I have been saying ever since my boss bought the second one, that we need a rackmount disk enclosure and to not fiddle with these external drives for various reasons.

So, on Friday I work on stuff, and my boss comes into my office, and just so happens to lean over my desk and bump one of the HDs that stood there. It was beautiful, a Kodak moment, a work of art, it tipped and fell, and immediately began clicking - head crash, wheee!

Bottom line, 198GB of data lost, only backups for about 30GB of it.

Couldn't have made a better case for my point. Though I have to say that I did order a 42U rackmount and a bunch of disk arrays for it on last Wednesday, but that obviously doesn't help with the data lost.
 
ewww that sucks but serves him right for being podunk.

Almost outta here for me 1 more hour of jamming out to music so can't complain. Plus the GF just called and says she has another "surprise" for me when I get home.

I can get gas later for the ol' ride so...yeah I'll be going straight home today.

rofl.. sounds like a very good day for Mohoso.

My day sucked, atleast im off work now. I so very much hate being at work at 8am. *growl* Mornings just don't work for me, but I need the hours so.. I can only complain when Im not around any managment, well.. i still complain to one of them, but I think he thinks im joking... lol.
 
Just got off a 13 hour shift on a Saturday and have to turn around and be at work in the morning. :cry:
