The original director died...coincidence?

Really though, I didn't think the second one was all that great compared to the first one (I'd state what I think ruined a great deal of the movie, but that'd be a spoiler for those whom haven't seen)...and with a new director, it...might just wind up being a bomb. I mean look at the Mortal Kombat series.

[Elemmire]

mortal kombat was a bomb from the beginning D:

yeh, he died shortly after 2 came out of a heart attack, such a bummer to hear that immediatley they were looking for a new director. You know those companies...always quick to make a fast buck.
But i heard its the director of cabin fever and hostel, Hes not that bad of a director in the horror genre, but i dont think he is saw material

[Uzor]

yay! I loved the first 2 movies.

Although first was deffinently better than the second, the second was good too.

[Andreus]

it doesnt actually sound that bad, ill be looking foward to it. >_>

edit: spelling

Nah, it's supposed to be some other dude named Darren Lynn Bousman. Eli Roth, who did Hostel, is supposed to be working on a film adaptation of Stephen King's Cell, as well as a Hostel sequel where they'll be torturing and mutilating a group of American women instead of men.
