Scam!!!

:lol: I have a somewhat funny story that occured last night as I was driving home. I was driving through an intersection and I saw a car broke down on the side of the road with a man and woman standing next to it waving at me. I made a U-turn and headed back to see how I could help. The woman walks up to my window and this is our conversation:

Me: "How can I help you guys?"

Her: "We just broke down, we ran out of gas. Could you possibly spare some money so that we can walk to the gas station and get some? If it wasn't so damn expensive, I swear. Come on, help your people out."

Me: "You ran out of gas huh?"

Her: "Yup."

Me: "If you ran out of gas, why is your hood open?"

Her: *baffled look* *looks towards the guy* *smiles slyly* "Have a goodnight."

:lol: I laughed all the way home. What some people will do to try to avoid a 9-5.

Maybe it was one of those new fangled cars where you pour the gas directly onto the block.... ^_^

Imagine Kurgon if they tried to scam you using an electric car....lol

Well I told a couple other people and 3 people told me that you are supposed to open your hood if your car breaks down for no other reason than to draw attention to the fact that you need help. I took drivers ed and they never mentioned that but I guess it could be true. Either way my ignorance saved me some $$$.

Well I guess the scammers weren't in on that little rule. Otherwise she would of come back with, "oh thats just to draw attention that we need help." Good thing most low brow scammers didnt make it past the 6th grade and arent that smart eh? lol

I read 2 people died on the side of the road last night, because their car ran out of the gas and no one would help them out. They froze to death!!! omg!! :twisted:
