How perfect would DBAG be for a sub forum like that? Aside from it being really unrealistic of happening, i think very few people would end up using it as much as they say.
 
We'll discuss this more in the mod forum, it's not our perrogative (sp, awesome word) to censor people, but there is a line sometimes. I see both sides, and I think the mods need to get together and talk about this. Both threads have only been soft deleted or moved, so they are easy to replace. For the time being, just relax. I promise I will visit this issue when I get home from work tonight. (Late tonight btw, another 8 hours)

It's not really that big of a deal I guess. I have been talking with the mods about it and I told CmdrFly in a pm I wasn't gonna get all butt hurt about it and bring it here.

I really would like to know who all was bitching about it though. They wouldn't tell me that, or at least Miros didn't mention it in his response to the pm in which I asked him about it.

And rappa doesn't count. His complaint was about the title being the url minus the .com, and I changed that to make it say "Nasty poo eating video".

And for those of you that are sad about losing the kitty porn thread, that's kinda my fault. I used it as arguementative point to try and keep my thread.

"I guess we should just drop it and not worry about talking about the latest internet fad on the internet." is what I would say if I was trying to keep from causing problems for the mods, which I guess I kinda am, but we all know I don't mean that. Now I just feel like an asshole.
 
Honestly i think that this is stupid and according to the rules there are alot of other posts that are breaking the rules rather than the 2girls1cup reaction video thread. According to the rules you are not allowed to post any NSFW images even with the NSFW badge whereas the moderation staff has repeatedly stated that all you have to do is add the NSFW tag and it will be allowed.

This thread imo was completely harmless and using the same reasoning that this used chasyms haxxxor thread should have been deleted as well because it was easy enough to figure out where it came from and once there you could get the name of FFXIAPP which not everyone necessarily knows is a hacking program. Therefore by leaving the thread up you are promoting people on qcdn to hack the game by giving them the means to find the program to be used to hack the game.

Your argument for deleting the thread is extremely similar in that you state that showing videos of people reacting to an unknown video will encourage people to watch porn.. Imo it was a completely harmless thread and this is just a lot of people who got curious and were offended by the video pissing and moaning and the moderation staff giving in and censoring the thread.

Were all fucking adults for the most part people need to grow up.
 
It was moreso a musing than a serious comment. Not quite sarcastic - but not quite dismissed. We do need to define as a mod team what we are terminating and what we are condoning.

It's a difficult call really. On one hand, we deleted Blackmagick's mutilating dick thread because it was something we feel didn't really need to be here. It's one of the main reasons why the post is deleted. I was just trying to go by what we did on other subjects that were 'similar' so we didn't show any biased. Guess that sure kicked me in the balls. =p

I'll bring this up in the mod forum...I'm thinking what it should be is if the post itself has at least some detail about what the people are reacting to, or what the link provided will send them to, it can be allowed.

Fuck censorship. Everyone should be able to post anything they ever want. I remember a video of a Russian military man being beheaded with a dull knife, or one with the vietnamese man being executed with a shot to the head that I always wanted to share. Or better yet lets post more videos of shit and piss eating, since everyone seems to love that shit here.

I"m sure we want all our children to grow up thinking this kind of stuff is cool and "ok" to do on a dare since they see it on the internet. After all thats how all these morons got people to do bukkake porn without being pumped up on cocaine like the 2 girls in the shit eating video were.

I say fuck censorship. This is America isn't it? The land of the "free to do anything".

I specifically read a post (I think by Arctyrael) stating that a NSFW thread needs it tagged in the title. That is EXACTY what i did. I specifically stated IN THE THREAD that there would be no NUDITY at all, and the posters respected that and the thread stayed that way. Its just like a 12 year old staying up late and watching Spike channel at 1 am and seeing the girls gone wild commercials. Im pissed that the thread got deleted because one person complained, which we see in this thread.

If threads get deleted, do it because there have been multiple complaints, not just one. Fuck me, if eveything got changed because one person didnt like it then the world would be a much different place.

Dont get me wrong, im not mad at the person who complained, i respect the fact that they are doing what they are doing, but I am mad about how it got dealt with. At least a PM to me would have been nice or something. I had no idea the thread got deleted until now.

Trust me on this, people do know how to excercise self control. For example, on the penis mutilation thread, I read quite a few posts where people said they stopped watching ten seconds in, I didnt post, but thats exactly what I did. If people dont want to watch or see it they will move on to a different thread.

When you clicked that "yes create my account plox" button, you agreed that the mods could do whatever the shit they wanted to all of your posts. It isn't censorship when you agreed to it. If you want an uncensored board, maybe you should ask about qcnn and how that went. If you want porn, it's not hard to find. If you want poop pictures/movies, they aren't hard to find. If you want to post on qcdn, be prepared to have your posts altered for whatever reason the mods want. Feel free to complain, but at the end of the day they can tell you to piss off if they want and guess what, your ass will be back here again tomorrow because this is the best quetzalcoatl community on the net.
