apperently there was a shooting at a college in montreal today. I actually know a kid that goes there which is pretty whack. The shooting was in the lunch room and he was in class when it happened but thats still crazy. At first 4 people were reported dead but i think he said its down to 2, 1 girl and a gunnman.

Why can't we settle our difference with a good old fist fight anymore? Are guns really needed? I mean, you can pretty much get the same effect with a black eye in a high school atmosphere. Everyone is immature & stupid. If you get the shit beat out of you, your basically ostricized from the larger group. Simply stupid. I don't think I (or anyone else for that matter) need to live in a world where we need a contigency plan 'just in case' the school gets shot up.

MONTREAL (AP) — A man with a black trench coat whose shooting rampage in a Montreal college killed one person and wounded 19 others before he was slain by police said on a Web site in his name that his favorite Internet game was about the Columbine shootings.

The gunman who opened fire at Dawson College on Wednesday was Kimveer Gill, 25, of Laval, near Montreal, a police official said Thursday, speaking on condition of anonymity because authorities were not ready to announce it publicly yet.

In postings on a Web site called VampireFreaks.com, blogs in Gill’s name show more than 50 photos depicting the young man in various poses holding a rifle and donning a long black trench coat and combat boots.

The last of six journal entries Wednesday was posted at 10:41 a.m, about two hours before the gunmen was shot to death after the college shooting.
He said on the site that he liked to play ‘‘Super Columbine Massacre,’’ an Internet-based computer game that simulated the April 20, 1999, shootings at the Colorado high school by two of its students that left 13 people dead.

Jack Thompson is no doubt gloating over this incident as more proof that violence in video games translates into real-life violence.

Speaking of Chris Rock, he had a great idea. It was something like "We should make bullets cost $5,000 each. So then if someone gets shot we all know he really did deserve to get shot."

Funny (not funny "haha") that when something like this happens in Canada it's all over the Canadian news AND American news. How many people were shot to death in Africa today? Ireland? Japan? Guess it's because we're usually so peaceful.

I remember some time ago, the first shooting that ever happened in my country was in a Primary School, no not highschool or college, it was Primary School... they said a young boy of 10 years old took his Father's gun to school cause he wanted to show it to his friends. Apparently he wanted to test it and "accidently" killed a 9 year old girl in the classroom.

1. Why did the father have a gun in the first place? He wasn't a cop.
2. The father was an idiot for letting a weapon like that easily available for his son.

At that age we don't measure the risks at all, it may be understandable... but
after that incident happened, schoolbags got checked before entering school. I remember when I was in highschool teachers used to check the schoolbags to see if we didn't have any drugs or alcohol cause they caught students drinking inside the bathroom school one day.

This situation is of an older person, and killed without saying anything, with a cold look in his face. They never mentioned if he was in a fight with someone at school so.. wtf with this kind of people?
 
God its really depressing what some anonymous rabidly masterbating only biologically post pubescent programmer makes a game like that. I'm sick of people's obsession with my old high school.

Dunno if it was mentioned yet but in every story I've read, they all mention the guy having a "punk" mohawk haircut..... You all better watch the fuck out for me then! Maybe now mohawks won't be so fucking cool and all those fags with pansy little mohawks will cut that gay shit off.
