The update today messed up a lot of created character features. My magus no longer has her burn, and her eyes are now orange and serpentine-like. Hair is fine, and face is still the same as far as I can tell.

So you like how you beat out a tank class for damage as a raw DPS class? I mean, I'd certainly hope you would have.

Tanks in this game can put out some significant dps as it stands. You also have to factor in the number of healers keeping the tank alive versus how long a melee dps class (for example) survives in the match. This will obviously tilt the dps charts in favor of the class who lives longest.

Dead dudes don't put out dps...and tanks are pretty tough to bring down if they have even mediocre healing on them.

I like how you picked out the one SS you could find something negative about.

Let me rephrase.. I kicked the shit out of the Rank 10 Black Orc's damage output too.

I'm aware that tanks in this game are decent damage dealers as well. But playing a class thats one of the best at pushing out DPS and boasting doing better than not one, but two tanks is retarded. It's like DoK boasting about healing better than a Magus, because a Magus can use Strengthen Thrall to heal up daemons.
 
Top dps doesn't mean dick in those scenarios anyways because half the time, the decent players are trying to win the objective and that doesn't always involve straight-up fighting.

Exactly, it's like Squig Herders being all "ZOMG I GOT MOST DMG" well yeah but most of the time it was just healed away straight away lol.

And I finally got a one on one with a black orc yesterday, and I will agree with you on the fact that their damage output is pitiful. Then again could've just been the player.

So I started on Volkmar with the CE headstart today.

Yeah our server has some solid Order and Destruction guilds, we've had really close Nordenwatch scenarios. Level 12 nearly 13 now. Shame there's not many people to PvP in Tier 2 yet. Should change in the next day or so.
