Damn right Baja; physical comedy beats "intelligent" comedy. Of course, how much intelligence does it take to have someone use the same "intelligent" jokes with the same story path and same developement every episode? Kudos to the writers for figuring out a way to get paid and do as little work as possible.

Myrrh already said it, finding out what's wrong with the patient and what insane method he's going to use to diagnose/cure them. He doesn't always cure it either, so even the ending isn't always the same. The comedy is much higher brow too, since they don't have to resort to day dreams or sight gags to draw ratings.

House also gets more Nielsen ratings, so that's automatic win.
