Sculli, how can you devote so much time to these forums? I've always wondered how forum Admins can give up so much time to monitor the threads & not spend their time playing games, hanging out, watching TV, etc. Or maybe Why? is a better question.

It's a lot easier when it's your official job and you make your entire living off of admining a site. :spiteful: But even on my old site that I used to admin for free, it's just seeing your "creation" enjoyed and appreciated by so many people that keeps you going. I updated the site all the time and would spend 30+ hours a week doing so because I knew how much people benefitted from my work. I'd imagine that Sculli feels about the same way, proud of his site and how everyone enjoys it so much.

Let's dispel this old wives tale first: Sculli is not a human.

I agree, he's "permanently retired from FFXI"... how many humans can break this addiction?

Yea....you thought chuck norris was bad arse.....you aint seen nuthin till you seen Sculli.

*Ass-kissing skill goes up 0.3*
*Ass-kissing reaches level 27*
*You've learned the weaponskill "Brownnose"*

When you did play what job(s) did you play? What kinda character did you have? Do you enjoy long walks on the beach with candies? :3

And were the candies, chocolate or fruity?

Not sure whether you are implying that QCDN is my full-time job or not.
It's not, I do work full time, I am taking 6 credits, and I do QCDN.
There are admins who make a good living off of their site, but I am not one of them, and QCDN isn't a site that lends itself to be a great revenue earner. If looking at it from a (revenue - expenses) / time-invested perspective, then I would make more money bussing tables somewhere in Mexico.

QCDN does take a significant time committment. On the other hand, a site like this just doesn't run right if the person running it isn't dedicated. I would say that I am dedicated, and still QCDN isn't were I would like it to be.

How I do it?
Today it's my day off for working last weekend, still I am at work working some, and doing some QCDN. I squeeze the time in somehow, for now that works.

Thank god for Sculli, this site was going the way of the dodo for a while there.

Yea, we really should do something great for Scull......well....if you think about, getting the premium membership is a way of saying thanks.

If he still was playing the game I would say, everyone should get him a thank you gift in game. But.....seeing how he doesnt play FFXI, I guess a thank you will do.

i would get a premiuim if i could find my credit card its some where in this house but not seen it for ages but rarely bothers me cash in had all the time xD

...., awesome, but did you link to QCDN? ;)

To those who want to know, I used to be a female hume, the blonde one, and the finest mangina to walk the land. Since I never made it past level 12 or so jobs really didn't matter much, but on the caster side I was a WHM and on the melee side a THF.
