Square-Enix made Full Metal Alchemist, its a game.
The anime is based on the game.

Wrong.

The Game, is based off the Anime.
The Anime, is based off the Manga.

I think they're giving some corporate sponsorship to the company making Full Metal Alchemist. I've seen Playstation in almost every fansubbed anime I've ever seen.

The Fullmetal Alchemist manga is a feature in Monthly Shonen Gangan, which is a manga magazine published in Japan by Square-Enix. SE also produces the FMA games and is one of the producers for the anime series. SE most likely also owns at least part of the rights to FMA.

If you have found yourself really liking FMA as much as I have lately. Try checking out the new Campaign setting by WoTC called Eberron:
http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/eberron

They have a race called Warforged which are living constructs,
and a class called Artificer which combined comes really close to one Alfonse Elric :D

The first time I saw it in the credits I also did a double take though. I was like wtf was that  I have this awesome thing called a DVR where I record all the episodes on the cartoon network and watch them the next day when i come home for my lunch break. 8)

Ya I know what you mean /chuckle.

It has a lot of benefits... no gilsellers... no LFP because you always have one....no subscriptions to play etc.
The only drawback I see is the initial investment in books and dice. I've had my dice for a long time I bought a ton of them back before there were "MMO's".

I think I bought like 2 of these, they never came with enough D4s though.

Edit: also for some reason I think I broke the thread. :x

EditEdit: nvm, wasnt me. >.>

Yeah S-E made the first FMA game for the ps2 (great game btw) which unfortunatley i havent finished yet due to me buying way too many games at one time and not finishing any of them.

FMA2 held a huge section of S-E's booth at E3 when i went. There was about 10 Ps2's hooked up so everyone could test it. I tried it out. Graphics are better than the first (now cell shaded) and now instead of manga style convos its actual voices coming from the cell shaded characters. (At least thats what the demo showed)
