SE and the BBB

Square-Enix’s US office has a listing with the Better Business Bureau, so I looked them up. They got a Company rating of an F. In the last 36 months they have had 36 complaints filed against them. 11 of them went unanswered and 14 of them unassigned.

And if you are not the card holder of the account (i.e. under 18 people using parents cards) do not bother, as you are not technically a customer of SE, your parents are. This is also not the place to complain about Gil Sellers, Bots, etc. This is for complaints like they double billed you.

Sony Online Entertainment: D

Basically every MMORPG company is going to have a bad BBB rating due to complaints based on double-billing, adjustments, etc.

If they address complaints and bring them to a satisfaction of both parties, it doesn’t hurt there rating as bad. What is really hurting SE’s rating is the fact that complaints have gone unanswered.

But Let me tell you the BBB gets some very asinine complaints and demands from people, stuff that a company in no way should accommodate a customer with, but a company should always answer a complaint, even if it is to say “No way in Hell”.

I would hazard to guess Sony got a lot of complaints about the Disc Read Error.

WOW Sony Electronics, Inc. got an A Rating.
 
then why Blizzard? T.T man.. all there games kick ass with kick ass stories and characters and features and such... (and yes.. WoW is good atleast.. in terms of making the Warcraft world even more advance)

They have 140 Unanswered complaints and a high volume of complaints.

and Square Enix/Square Soft doesnt?
 
No.. I never said Square doesn't. But to be fair.. when I've played through WoW the story was not so far between as it is in FFXI. Plus Warcraft is an on going series and has much more character to its world than any FF game (atleast as I see it). Though FF and Xenogears and Dragon Warrior and such are all good games. I would like to see what rating they had before their MMORPG releases.

But you forgeting, the BBB doesnt base their grade on how goo dthier games are. they base thier grad eon thier customer service, in that field Blizzerd fails horribly atleast from what i have expirienced in WoW.

but appearantly so does SE.. I still wonder if Blizzard had this bad a grade before WoW.. cause they did have games with online capabiltiy that were popular before WoW. (I.E. Warcraft II-III, Starcraft, Diablo I-II). Oh well..

Well yeah, im not defending SE's customer service by any means, i know SE sure as hell doesnt win any gold medals in that deparment ethier. I'm just saying that the quality of the storyline or how fun the game is has nothing to do with thier BBB grade
