zomg I have a map Kyrial doesn't? Dang. I've half given up on the map to Ru'Hmet, though. WHM/THF 4tw in that place to get the stupid map done, FWIW.

lol, I have Ru'Hmet... got that solo through lots of running to an elevator, dying most of the time, then reraising, waiting on weakness, and repeating. <3 Reraise III. I made up almost all the exp with a Miratete page I had from escort. And I would've died even more without BLM sub; Sleepga actually stuck quite a few times with Dark Staff equipped, and it gave me Escape. I was even able to get past the stationary Zdeis without any trouble by ES+Sleepga'ing them, running past, talking to the NPC behind them, then escaping out.

Hu'Xzoi is evil though... you actually hafta fight stuff to get through the place. It's just much easier to do it along the way during 8-2.

Yah, we got it on the way, but we also plowed through the mission with a bunch of people, so it cut the time per fight way down. IIRC, it took a bit less than 3 hours with detours to get the map and complete the mission, which was a lot shorter than estimates we'd heard.

We got 6 people through 8-4 yesterday, Landael (RNG), Myrrdin (PLD), Mym (BLM), Tiael (RDM), Birahn (THF), and me (WHM). I might actually make an increasingly rare weekday appearance in-game to get one delicious ring as soon as I can.
