Thanks to Elyssa and Odhinn on this one! Went from 6-3 Airship all the way to sea tonight! I did 1498 Rampage to Tenzen too ^^ Finally get to /sea what this place is all about! and omg its like acid.

Sea was the best place, in my opinion, in FFXI. But like everyone else says, watch for those UFO's. They eat you alive and then spit out your items. It's horrible.
