Hello, everyone.
I am still working on a long and complicated project to show that FFXI is worthy of the franchise name. A large part of this effort requires high-quality movies of the battles within Chains of Promathia.
Unfortunately, when my group cleared the missions, I was not working on the project. In addition, many people do not have the capabilities to record low-latency, high resolution movies of difficult battles. For these reasons, I wanted to ask the community here to point me towards any videos that would be usable in the project.
An alternative to this is if people here, or elsewhere, since many have contacts on other servers, are willing to record battles as they fight.
Requirements: Weather effects on, little damage numbers not visible, battle effects on.
Preferred settings: sound effects but no music, shadows off, high background draw distance. Highest possible resolution, wide-screen format.
If people are capable of re-creating the battles using interesting programs, that's cool, too, since I know some community members work with mechanima.
Thank you for your help.
