I am having a weird experience. After updating I loaded up the game and my character was running waaaay faster than chocobo speed. The text in the chat window was moving fast. When I used a dance, the animation was a lot faster than it should be. Is anyone else having this problem? I don't want to be suspended for speed hacking.

I hear if you break the lock on 30fps it can result in moving faster in-game. Do you think the update screwed up the fps cap?

Hey if its not your fault, lol use it while u can u cant get in trouble for it can you?

Maybe a file got corrupted, would suck to have to reinstall that damn update

Edit: Why dont you try asking people around you to see if they can see you moving faster?

That's the thing. I don't think pleading innocence will really help me. I doubt many cheaters admit to what they do. I am sure they talk about how innocent they are and how it must be an error.

Yeah, werent some "GM's" banning people for having w.legs a while back? I'd call a GM or put in some sort of complaint that you are moving faster then you should. A hacker wouldnt turn themselves in while pleading innocence, so you have reasonable doubt on your side. Now to hope you have a GM with common sense.

All i can suggest is perhaps checking your clock settings down in the Taskbar, make sure they're all correct.
(people used to take advantage of that back in the day to achieve said speed boost).

Another thing is obviously restarting your computer, POL might have just been acting spaz.

Last but not least, quick file check.

(and on warning note, try not to zone while under the speed boost, that's what usually sends flags of speed hacking to the lads over in SE)

:o

I haven't called a gm since launch in the US. The process appears to have changed since then. Any quick tutorials? :D

Nevermind. Crisis is over. File check found nothing but after another reboot I am back to my old slow Galka self.
