Looks like a pretty Sonic Rush... but simplified.

Still the same old recipe as the 3D games: run forward, touch something, 2~10 seconds of a cutscene, run forward, go very fast, more cutscene, jump a little bit, change camera, run run run, complete level (add 20 second cutscene).

Sonic rush was amazing though, and so was Sonic rush 2. I hope they make it like the 'rush' games rather than secret rings for wii because i personally thought secret rings wasn't too good. Other than that it looks pretty cool and what not

Impossible. Sonic games that dont suck went extinct long ago. Now its just ... Shadows of its former self.

I haven't gotten my hopes up for a Sonic game since Adventure 2. This is no exception.

Nah. I remember that too from growing up with games consoles...

I still gotta buy myself a retro Genesis console though and play retro like the good old days =D

Hopefully this'll be the sonic game that we've been waiting for. One that mixes 2D platforming, running, jumping, ring and chaos emerald collecting, into 3D environments. I'm gonna wait till its out to give my full opinion but for now, i've got some retro hope left in sonic.

honestly if they just made a cool RPG/Action adventure sonic game that actually used the story from the comic book series with some decent game play, then they would have an awesome sonic game because the comic book story was the best thing sonic related i had ever seen.
But i gave up on that day ever coming long long ago, after the 360 sonic i lost all hope.
