Senior Prank

I was reading the Smoking Gun this morning, and noticed the below story...which is meh, ok. What I was wondering, is has anyone actually DONE a senior prank? I mean, obviously the jackasses below did - but I always thought that, this was something that only really happened on cheesy shows like Growing Pains or Head of the Class...

Or maybe my highschool was just lame...anyway - did anyone have a senior prank when they graduated?

Police: Students spiked high school teachers's drink with laxative

MAY 10--A quartet of Arkansas high school students is facing criminal charges for allegedly placing a laxative in an iced tea dispenser in their school's faculty lounge. After purchasing the laxative at Wal-Mart, Mark "Cowboy" Turner, 18, snuck into the lounge at Lakeside High School and placed it into the dispenser, which was then shaken by another prankster, 18-year-old Harry Keck, according to arrest reports, copies of which you'll find below. A couple of teachers who drank the tea following the May 3 senior class prank later complained of cramps, said Hot Springs police. Two other students, Bradley Parham, 18, and Jeffery Canterbury, 19, were also hit with a misdemeanor abuse of teacher rap. Investigators learned of the laxative assault after a Lakeside student found out about the spiking and told a school resource officer, said Corporal Chris Chapmond, a police spokesman. The four students are scheduled for a May 16 District Court hearing. (4 pages)

Aww, dude that's old. That was my senior prank in High School in 2002. We did that, set loose 2000 crickets and all the snakes in the school. And also dug up the word "2002" in the outfield of the baseball field overnight and laid down quick-dry cement in it. It was about 100 feet wide and 3 feet deep. Of course, I was a trouble maker in school. Looking back on it now, it was a pretty stupid move. I could have been arrested, expelled, not graduated, and have more time to play FFXI without a job :B

Let's see... some senior pranks I can remember...

Class of 99 released a pig into the gym when we were having our pep rally.
Class of 00 put a shitton of dye into the swimming pool. Instead of being pink/red it turned a nice sick brown after about 12 hours.
Class of 01 (mine) draped signs down off the top of the school with ridiculous phrases on them.

I don't remember what happened in 98 (my first year of high school). But yeah. They happen.

NYC public schools are pretty stern and some usually send out letters of the consequences if you destroy school property. I've never seen nor heard of any good senior pranks taking place at the school I graduated from other than the one where everyone was wearing jackets of the opposing school's basketball team at a division final game.

I got tricked into eating an exlax once by my buddies. They told me it was candy.

I went home "sick" an hour later.

school I went to was famous for stink bombs and literally dialy bomb threats. It was 3 or 4 days before they caught on, but during those days we would mess half the school day as we had to wait for the dogs to sniff out the school. Some of us even went home early.

My HS was a large square building with a courtyard area in the middle that several classrooms had windows looking out into. We scaled the walls in the middle of the night and placed 200 dozen eggs around the courtyard as well as 10 live chickens.

My school also had a yearly shaving cream fight in the parking lot following the senior's last day.

we passed out an absurd amount of peanuts before the graduation ceremony (before the bags were taken away)...

and as each one of us got our diplomas, we slipped the principle a peanut as we shook his hand...

nothing cruel, but certainly unusual...at first he just put them in his pockect, but after 300+ students...it was funny :biggrin:

Not a prank... but the senior class at my high school would always have a water balloon fight in the parking lot after the last day of classes.

But I do remember something about live chickens wandering the hallways one day....

my school has a 'senior pit' - an area in the middle of the school that is recessed about 3' down. some people (i think '00) snuck in at midnight, (someone hid inside the school some how...) and managed to dump like 3 inches of sand down the steps leading into it (like a shore of a beach) and filled it with water and goldfish.

other than that.. egging the school... writing class of 06 in bleach on the front lawn... bleaching a giant penis outline (like 5 students)... pretty lame so far..

Only being in my second year of HS, i cant say anything i've done. HOWEVER, the seniors last year filled the schools largest window with porn. This window is atleast 10 feet tall and 30 feet wide. It, was good...

Hmmm, my highschool did a several things:
- Released 95 mice each painted 1 through 95
- Small tree planted a tree in the middle of the football field
- Certain exits were chained shut
- Shaving creme fights that broke out in the parking lot after the last class
- Let loose several floating chairs in the indoor pool

Yup, bored newly grads in the NW suburbs of chicago back in 95.

I remember a few years ago someone put a fish in a locker before spring break. A BIG fish too, and it sat in the warm school all break. Apparently rotted up and made the school smell awful. I was in middle school then, but our school used to have a website with videos of all the stuff they did.

Dunno what I'll do for my senior prank next year.

Only senior prank I remember was when someone stacked all the tables in the outside courtyard in a pyramid formation in the middle of the courtyard, where we had a huge sundial.

I ALLWAYS (like, since the 7th grade...) had this great idea for my senior prank...to buy like 10,000 bouncy balls (You know, the small 25 cent ones) and have 4 groups of two people release these balls in the four main hallways of the school.

Imagine the chaos of 1400 students picking up these balls and throwing them all around. It was a beautiful idea. I had nearly 8 guys, looked up prices on bouncy balls, even thought of a date and time to do it...but then i considered the lawsuits that could be filed against me if someone got their eye knocked out, or fell down the stairs, or something like that, So we pussed out and never did it....

Me and my buddies just bought 50 pounds of bird seed and we put it all over the parking lot, its amazing what it looks like when 10,000 birds have to take a crap ^^

Before I was in high school, I heard the class before I got there did the 1000s of boucey balls thing, sounded funny.

Also that has been done:

3 pigs, numbered 1,2,4 were set loose.

Somehow, one year, some kids got a cow...into the school pool. I'm guessing the shallow end lol, but wtf.

One year some kids got in at night, and take everything out of one teacher's class, everything. And they set the class up on the roof.

Slip in slide was set up in the senior hallway two years ago. Kind of dumb, but I chuckled.

In my class, we didn't have indiviudal pranks really, we did things together as a class. So the class, and also lots of people in the younger grades secertly pre-organized a giant water ballon/gun fight for about 3 days before the last day of school. It was a 6-7 year long water fight, complete with thousands of water ballons and several water guns, going on during and between classes. A big fight break out during my lunch period, that was fun. I nailed some big fat kid running for the door.

One of my teacher's gratuated from the school, the guy was a bit of a douchebag if you ask me, but his prank was funny. He and his friend recorded like an hour or two of crushing on a tape, and set up speakers in the gym in the rafters. So during the regents final many years ago, there was lines such as "**** you" and other classics being yelled out very clearly.
