≪Sep. 9, 2008 (JST) Update Details≫

Hmmmm so the negative effects on armor wont be removed, that fuckin sucks, and the delay is also just as bad............prolly better off using lower level weapons no?

I don't understand why everyone thought that their level 75 weapons/armor was going to be better than equivalent weapons/armor at the correct level. This is just intended to let people quickly sync up and play together, not to break the game.

Did I read this right? Are we getting new ws's? Or is this refering to the mystic weapons?

This was one of teh reasons I didn't rush out and sell my capped gear. It would be really nice to have the extra storage, but if the capped gear is better than my 75 gear at Assaults/BCNMs/CoP/Whatever, I may as well hold on to it.

The way I read it it sounds like we can quest them but they won't be as effective as if we had the mythic weapon.

The WS will be just as effective with or without the relic.

The only difference is that having the relics will give you "Aftermath" bonuses

Adjustments have been made to Jailer of Love, Absolute Virtue (and pets), and Pandemonium Warden (and pets) in areas such as HP value and behavior. Absolute Virtue and Pandemonium Warden will now vanish two hours after their appearance, automatically ending the battle. In addition, the spawn rate for Absolute Virtue has been increased to 100%.

LMFAO...

You forgot to mention the completely terrible other effects. s-e needs to get it through their head that drk isn't a fucking caster job, lol.

What? You don't want Ballad + Accuracy? Why would you want Attack or Haste? Just downright silly sir.

Well, SE did just verify that "Augment" means that something new is added to the effect. So maybe it drains a stat and HP as well?

Anyone else having trouble getting on to BG last few minutes? ; ;

Yeah, I'm even more confused why people thought that when SE explicitly said back when level sync was first announced that the appropriate level gear would still be the best available for it's level. It's basically just to help people not have to rebuy all of their gear if they want to help someone of a lower level, it's not meant to make all of that level-cap gear obsolete.

Stone Mufflers

Thats right, but SE could still be nice enough to remove or hell, scale down the negative effects as well just like with the positive effects.

wtf is an n.head?

Gnadbhod's Helm
DEF:24 STR+6 DEX+4 Attack+8
Slow +5%
LV71 All

cant look atm, but dont nhead stats still trump this?

n.head = str+11 dex+5. This is a nice alternative depending on how it's acquired. It's also for all jobs (pup, cor, et al)

Considering the def on it, this seems to be a glove item. Gogo +30 stoneskin like stone gorget ? This would put my stoneskin @ 410 on rdm.

A lot of high level gear still trumps low level gear even with the loss of hMP, enm, haste and other stats. Low level gear rarely has a lot of those stats with the exception of staves and a few pieces which a lot of people should have anyways (okote, fumas, emp pin, etc.). There really only a few low level pieces which are loaded in stats that are voided pre-50 to make one chose those pieces over higher level alternatives.
